My boyfriend whom I've been going out with for 9 months this sunday.... He pay more attention to his video games than to me. When he's online, all he ever does is play Adventure Quest or a Final Fantasy game...How can I get his attention??
Please, somebody help me!!!

Yeah, but see... when he's online... he wont even talk to me... he might say hi and i love you once every 20-30 minutes.... he's freaking hooked on this game and it's summer I know but he really shouldn't be spending all his time playing games... I know I haven't....

Umm.. See the thing is.... I'm not struggling to get his attention...it just really really annoys me when he gets online(msn) and IMS me, and begins to talk to me..then all of the sudden stops...I'll ask him "what ya doin?" he'll reply "playing a game" I'd be like..." Oh... Ok.." and he probably wont talk for like 30 minutes..... I'll talk.. but he wont... it'll be little things I say to him so yeah...

There a lot of things that you "could" do, but, I think the question is "should" you do these things...
Should you really be struggling to have the attention of the guy courting you? My answer would be: "no"!
In my humble opinion, we all deserve better than to be with someone who makes us compete with trivial things like video games... I mean, of course, they aren't going to spend every waking moment focusing on you, but, I think you shouldn't have to beg and claw for a little time... maybe you should invest your time in a different guy.
Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear, however, it is what I wanted you to consider.

He is just starting to play these games now because he is content in his relationship with you and feels more safe to do things that he would do by himself and is not knowing that you are feeling lonely. Answer sit him down for a talk and tell him this, and work out a time for when he can play these games and not all the time.

Get used to it. It's a man thing! Lol!!!! If it isn't video games, it will be football, or basketball. Seriously, most guys aren't into just sitting online and talking about love and such. I say just let him play. Eventually, he will come to his senses....or at least after he beats the final level. Lol!!!

Get him away from the computer go out together! If you cant get him away from it tell him how you feel. I was in a simialr relationship, i asked what his prioritys where and i wasn't one of the top so I told him it was over! It hurt but then I met someone who gave me the attention I needed!

how old is he 8? u need to sit down and have a talk wit him. tell him how u feel about him playin video games all the time. tell him how u would like a little more attention

Parade around him stark naked while pouring honey on yourself... If that doesn't get his attention, he must be in the closet (gay but not admitting it)... I'd stop disarming a nuculear bomb that's going off in 40 seconds to pay attention to that!

talk to him about it and if he doesnt listen SLAP him and ten you get his attention and then yell at him and tell him your sick of him always giving the video games more attention.. whatever you do dont kiss him while hes playing OR wear really sexy clothes!!! becuaese thats rewarding him and he doensnt deserve it

Never try to compete for a man's attention, you'll just look silly. You need to accept his interest in something, weather it is unreasonable or not.

sometime when he gets off the computer, download a virus and then act inocent!!! i play too. but i will still gett off or at least rotate my head 360* feel free to IM me, i like having people to talk to!!!
