Turkey sandwich and a glass of milk (cold will do just fine.)
If you have problems going to sleep regularly go the Wal-Mart or your favorite health food store. In the vitamin section you will find Melatonin. This is produced by your body when you are in the dark but as we get older we produce less. I find that a very small dose will do the trick for me. I take it about 30 minutes before I want to be asleep and when I feel my eyes getting sleepy, cut off the TV and turn off all the lights and get in a comfortable sleeping position. This stuff will not knock you out but will help you drift off to a good nights sleep. Allow a full sleep period or it may leave you just slightly groggy. A good cup of coffee will counteract it though.

Herbal tea, especially Chamomile, is supposed to be helpful. Warm milk, as suggested earlier. A light snack of crackers and milk. A warm, relaxing bath. Reading in bed (that always makes me fall asleep.)

Besides warm milk, you can make a cup of chammomile tea. If you have Celestial Seasonings brand, they make one called Sleepy Time. I've used it before & it helps me sleep well & all night.

warm milk. milk has tryptophan(something like that), which can help you sleep. and there's more when it's warm, but cold milk works too if you don't want it hot.
