There is nothing wrong with getting emotional when you say goodbye to your sis. Just tell her you're proud of her and you can't wait till' she gets back. Tell her that you will call and visit as often as possible. Just stay possitive even if you do cry. Tell her they are tears of joy. Good Luck honey.xoxo

Aha! You're the sister who likes to act like the 'hard a.ss'!! Nobody can control their emotional feelings. If your feelings are already playing sad then that's what you'll be like when you have to say goodbye to her! There is nothing wrong with getting emotional. You love your sister and you're going to miss her. Let her know that, let all your feelings out - i can guarantee that you'll feel much better! Good luck to you and your sister in college!

I know this feeling. As much as my brother and I would fight as children, the day we left to drive him to college (out of state) I swore I was not going to cry!
Well when it was time to leave I brOKe down. Don't let pride get in the way. Crying is ok. She probably feels the same way!
Life is too short.

Well I'm in the military and everytime I leave my younger sisters and brothers I always just make a joke out of it... I know I'll see them again and that seems to work out for us
