I use Aussie conditioner. I believe that's what it's called. I'm sure you've heard of it. It's cheap and you can buy it at Walmart. It's not the salon brands, but in my opinion it's better. I used to have the same problem. I recommend using the Aussie shampoo also. Or, you might try the Leave-In Garnier Fructis conditioner. Both are very good.

The key to healthy hair is in the scalp. Even though Head and Shoulders is a dandruff shampoo, it us very good for dry and damaged hair. Its ok to mix up brands. In fact variety is good for hair. Use leave-in condition. Aussie's "three minute miracle" conditioner is really good. Also if you put a lot of heat on your hair (hair-dryers, flat irons, curlers etc.) a heat protection spray can work well, but be careful because some products leave your hair greasy. There is also something that is a little on the expensive side called Silk Thereapy serum. You can try try inexpessive versions of the brands at Wal-mart for cheaper.

Well if you want your hair to grow try vitamins. A good muti vitamin or even a prenatal vit will help it grow. Also a nice hair cut to trim off any dead ends or dried out hair. Try Sunsilk it is a nice brand and only cost about $5.00 at your drug store. Remember washing too much can dry out your hair too. A trim ever once in awhile will also help it say healthy. If you are in the pool too much that also drys out hair just try not to over process it. Good Luck
