How do you let a guy go that you know isnt right for you? It's so hard...Everytime I try I never can do it. I love him so much and i THINK he loves me, he tells me....yeah whatever...anyways...I know hes just going to break my heart in the end.....What do i do?

He thinks that by buying me stuff thats how he shows his love....but i need more than that...hes so unaffectionate and unemotional and ughhhh its horrible....there is so much more to this story.....

I don't believe in seeing future, both of you should work hard and sweat on nurturing your LOVE, it does not come without commitment and hard work. if you start quiting you will never stop

Its sooo hard. I was with a guy for a yr and a half, (my longest relationship) and he was my first love.......but our life together had become a mess... i tried to leave and then wed get back together, it was a cycle things were great when they were good, but ohh soo bad when they were bad!
Anyway my answer was to leave the situation completly if it means changing the intermediate friends the two of you share as well, you might have to.....if you are having feelings now that he isnt right for you just imagine 2years down the line it will be even harder to get out........dont let yourself have contact with him after the break up bcus u will just go back

lol this is kind of funny, no disrespect. If he loves you and you love him I guess everything should be fine, but if there are other things that tell you otherwise, then you should cut him loose... I know is not easy, there are not really many easy things in life, but someone has to do it. I you feel in your heart that you must leave him, then do so in the best way possible. Maybe " I don't feel as this is working" or the so common line used by men, I need space or need to prioritize my life, anyway just anything that let him know it's over.

hey... the way i see it is if u dont wanna be with a guy then u shouldnt lead them on... u should break up with him... but u need work... u sound like u have commitment issues... how do u know hes going to hurt u in the long run? the only way to tell is to get to that point... trust me on this one i used to have the same prob. it may be because uve been hurt b4... only u know but watever it was u have to let it go and learn to trust sumone and if he really does love u then he will be patient enough to help u through it. just because uve been hurt b4 doesnt mean that this guy will hurt u too... diff. guys show their feelings in totally diff. ways... wat u need to do is sit him down and talk to him and tell him that if he cant open up with u during that conversation then he isnt ready for a real relationship yet... i prolly just wants a fling.

you can confuse the guy with acting weird..do strange stuff..and tell him that you'll break up with him tomorrow at 9 am and then call at 8 and say that you've changed your mind..and then call up at 9 and say that you've broken up..he'd be glad to have let you go..and then spread the word that how you desperately needed to get out of the relationship..you had to resort to those measures..this is important cause if he speaks about you as a psycho then your future chances with someone else are ruined..

hmmmm sounds like me lolz im gud when it comes to lying so i should know this i make girls think that im so into them and stuff when i dont even care about them so only advice i would give u is to really becareful guys can b really tricky i know tons and im one of them so.... if u got dat feeling you mite want to let go cuz of hes like me or like other guys that just play with girls then ur just gonna end up hurt trust me lol and dont fall for guys so ez specially the ones that seem to b too perfect

its really hard to do cuz u care for him so much but if he isn't right for u then u need to break up with him. i had to do the same thing and it was hard but u will get over it.

give him time. dont disturb him for a few days. distance makes heart fonder. if he says he doesnt love u, better love someone who loves u.
