not possible

POSSIBLE!! If someone can prove that his/her God is superior over the rest, then there won't be any issue of uniting into 1 religion only.
The problem with proving whose God is the greatest could only
happen when this whole world is in a great chaos, otherwise no one will listen, we will just stay where we think we have the right to stay...
Uniting into 1 religion or a better world...a tough decision to make, but the latter seem to be coming true.
My friend, go find out yourself which God is the greatest before time runs out...I found mine already.

Say NO to a world with one religion! The gods went to a lot of trouble to make all the diverse cultures and their religions. Do you see any two things in the universe that are the same? No, and there’s good reason for this. The gods are infinite and no religion can describe them. Whatever human mind is able to conceive, the gods are this and infinitely more. The Jews/Christians/Muslims have already done enough damage by locking the divine up into books. You make a better world by promoting diversity. Hint: even genetic codes stuff up when you attempt to combine two that are the same.

Unity of humankind is not a wish or a dream but a necessity and reality that must be recognized if we and the planet are to survive. Since religion is an important aspect of every nation and people, unity will come when all recognize that there is one God, that He has revealed Himself throughout the ages to every people through His chosen Teachers, whom have initiated regenative forces that have propagated great civilizations and whose words are the foundations the great religions we see today. Humanity will unit when they recognize that all the religions spring from the same Well Spring of Truth.

For those who see only division and turmoil, I hear you and give you the following analogy as aid. In spring there are two great processes evident - the decay of what has died during the long winter of cold and darkness, and the renewal of life in the return of warmth and light. In this day you can see both these processes.

"How can all religions unite? to make a better world?"

By following the main belief of every religion: love.

Love and respect others. Just because they believe something other than yourself, doesn't mean that they don't have a right to exist. They are human, and if you believe in God, then you should also believe that your God also put them on Earth for a reason. To take away the other person's beliefs or punish them for their belief is denying them their free will that they were born with.

The world of today is torn by strife and suffering, Even the effluent countries are not free from the fear of war and the dilution of their equality of life Man has progressed materially but not intrinsically. Disparities in income, the poverty of the two third of the world's population, the Mal distribution of resources and the exploitation of the weaker sections of humanity, have divided the globe into the North and the South -the Industrial nations and the Under-developed nations. The Sikh Gurus showed a way forward to the removal of inequality through justice, equality and freedom .Religion in its true sense is not of ritual, but of fellowship and self-discipline.Hypocrisy and double standards erode our character and hinder our progress.

Today we witness a revival of Sikhism all over the world.Sikhs are discovering the truth of the Guru's message by studying Gurbani. Now Sikhs are being influenced by the zeal and dedication of Sikhs to projects of community -welfare and voluntary service. Not only there is great increase in the number of Sikhs, but also a new enthusiasm to follow the teachings of the Guru's in daily life.Sikhism is now a World Religion, it has a great part to play in the building bridges of understanding and friendship between the different nations of the world and in the promotion of global peace.

A true Sikh is guided by the universal approach of the Guru's for the welfare of the mankind. The God lives in the Hearts of the ordinary people and not in the Gurudwaras,Masjids or Churches.A Sikh's recognition of the brother-hood of all ordinary people is illustrated in Sangat (Congregation)and Pangat( Free kitchen). The Guru's love of humanity made them declare that there was truth in all revelation. Man must follow and practice sincerely, the commands of his own religion.

Religions are created not to united, but to divide. And the world will never be better as long as religion reigns.

That is a great question! If more people want a better world they will have to take on individual responsibility to help each other in a quest for a peaceful co-existence. Maybe yahoo will play a small part in this due to the volume of caring people on here right now.

I really don't think that that will ever happen because everyone is in their own level of learning and I believe that God allows this so everyone will learn differently for their own spiritual needs to grow closer to Him. Back in the beginning of Christianity, all other religions were banished and people were killed if they did not believe like they were told. The Gnostic religion is what Jesus belonged to,so were the apostles, which meant they were a free thinking group. This is what the NAG HAMMADI scrolls prove. the Gnostic texts were deliberately put away.Don't you see what a mystery does? It makes you dependant; it makes us all idiots; and then only one person has the knowledge. You can seek knowledge within your own heart

Oh, this will never happen. You have this group saying that they are the chosen ones, and this group saying that they have the true version of things, and another saying that the other two are completely off-base. It would be a better world if people would just keep their religions to themselves, rather than trying to browbeat others into their way of thinking.
