Ew, love songs. Prefabricated, idealistic, corporate garbledness that really prove nothing in life other than the fact that there are idiots willing to pay cold hard cash for a fantasy that has no basis in reality.

However... Due to the fact that there are different stages of love - all accompanied by a chemical response in your brain - you have to match the mood of the relationship to the chemical high you're on. In the infatuation stage, huge doses of dopamine are released (the same reaction you would have if you did cocaine). It's euphoric and fun, your body tingles, all that crap. Stick with something upbeat with a moderate to strong percussion presence, and a simple, uncomplicated chorus to mimic those feelings. You'll be stuck with this song for awhile, so get used to it quick. You have only a few years to let your musical taste grow before you'll be stuck listening to the same genre of music for the rest of your life.

I wouldn't waste a good 6 months out of my formitive years listening to crap, but if you want to go ahead.

EDIT.....

See crapy artists above for bad, bad, bad music.

she can sing "be my little baby" by ronnie mmm..something, from the sixties era.....and he can respond with "don't worry baby" by the beach boys......

or.....gasoline

I read some of ratwagon's answer and it is funny how ignorance claims to know something it appears to know very little about. Why is it that a certain kind of ignorance critisizes what it doesn't understand instead of appreciating the differences and actually learning and growing from the experience. It's okay ratwagon, when you find a girl or woman you care for and it so happens that she likes what you think is "bad" music, you will probably "change your tune" , if you wise up that is. Good luck!

The first song that you hear together that makes you say to each other, 'that's how I feel about you!' Then it will be your song.
