100%.....and then they get a judgment against you and can pursue you much more easily than just calling you all the time....

Judgments allow them to garnish your wages and other things.

Very good. The $3300 can be obtained through small claims court. They can take it to court without you being present. When there is a judgement against you it is a lot harder to clear off the books. Get ahold of the collection agency that is handling the debt and work out a payment schedule with you. They can't refuse any reasonable offer. If you show good faith in the payments they may even let you buy it down after a while. They may even look at a settlement that is less than the 3300 that they are seeking. If you can't meet that payment, ask them if they can suspend the interest it collects while you are trying to make payments.

its a very good chance, in fact, I know I would. I could use $3300 if you owed it to me. If you make the debt you should pay the bill.

Very good unless they sell your account to a credit collections company. They will attempt to contact you for payment. Happened to my brother, ten to 15 calls a day, average 4 letters a week. They will continue to hound you until you give in and pay them. If their not getting anywhere then they will take you to court.

depends on which company you owe the money for. if they dont take you to court, the debt will be put on your credit report so any time that you want to apply for a house, apartment, car, credit card, or store credit you will be denied, this will not come off of your report until you pay it off, and the sooner the better.
