Truly educated people would never do such a thing.

Best wishes.

To make something researching and informed data takes a lot of time and painstaking efforts and it can be accomplished, if one has studied not only their own belief but other beliefs also and strike a balance between the two or the three-some.Patience, accommodation ,a real understanding of the others point of view plays an important part in the creation of something beautiful and acceptable to all.

Brevity sometimes makes one invisible for others to understand, but striking a balance between long and short answers also creates a magic of its own.Topic must not become boring for others but rather be lucid and attractive. These points make an article an article of faith for one and all.

In a lot of cultures it is taught that if it is not YOUR God that is being worshiped...then the God is not real. Like someone said b4 me..it is easier to be ignorant than intelligent..but, on the other hand an open mind, I think, makes life in these days and times easier to deal with.

People who fear other cultures' religions are just ignorant and fear what they don't know. The reality is that not everyone WANTS to know about your or another person's religion or faith so people will continue to hate what is not their own.

it's the whole idea of brainwashing, that people have. They are so stuck in that one place that anything new threatens their comfort bubble. By questioning their beliefs, or presenting a new idea that sheds some light on some ludictousness, you are thereby threatening their little world, and the jump to attack it, rather than open the mind and open the eyes to some other possibilities... they like to believe that theirs is the only right way to think... At least, that is how it is presented to me.

Good point.

Because it is easier to do this than do the hard work of researching things to come to an informed conclusion.

I used to be an atheist. Over a period of time however, I spent the time to research the existence of God -- and I grew convinced of the existence of the Christian God, and ultimately committed my life to Christ.

For a draft-version of my journey from atheism to Christ, see http://www.godsci.org/gs/chri/testimony/seek.html

Cordially,
John

Researching takes time and effort coupled with an illogical fear that what you learn might shatter your whole belief system.
