its bad. they are fighting chickens and to some buyers, they can get a large amount from gambling with there chickens. they are far more valuable for eating when you could just gamble. unfortunately, in fights the loser often dies from stabs and bites so they are just eaten with drinks. pulutan as we say here in the phil. if you are not attached to them anyway, its ok.
additional info: when the loser is almost dead but still quite alive, there is a man who stiches the wounds. the weird part is that when its just a small cut, the "doctor" still uses his scissors to make the wound even bigere so that he can take out the cltted blood. after that, he stiches it up and the poor chicken goes striaght to the pot. for you as the seller, you should not feel guilty of selling them. the person using them for fights should be.

It kind of is. I have seen these kind of fights in my neighborhood and they are horrible. The chickens become painfully weak and they tear each other apart for no other reason. This is gonna sound hard, but try to make up a lease or something that states what the chickens are going to be used for. Probably that'll help.

I'm wondering what kind of feedback you've gotten in order to ask the question. No doubt, it takes skill to raise these chickens.

I think I wish you could find something else to do with them. It does seem like a cruel, dare I say, ignorant sport. I kind of cringe when I see cock fights on TV ocasionally.

I think the fact that you:
1. don't attend the fights
2. don't ask what people are going to do with your babies

answers your owns questions. You know in your heart what would be best I'm sure.

I hope for you the courage to find it... and to change what you don't like to see.

:)

Game c*cks are awesome looking birds :-). If I could find a sweet hen, I'd snap one up in a heart beat for a pet! I believe most of your customers want them mostly for their garden collections, though there's idiots out there who'll buy them for the ring. Is it bad that you're selling them? Overall, no. If you don't ask and no one tells you, then there should be no problems. If someone out right said "I want this for a local bird fight' and you sold it to them, THEN I'd have issues.

You need to ask what is going to be the living situation for the animal that you are selling! i wouldn't sell or give away any animal if i didnt knwo that they were going to a good home.. raising them for eggs, fine as long as the people have means of providing them food ad shelter.. raisied for meat, well so be it.. but i would know where they are going just ask!

Well.I don't think it's bad. all the existing things have its meaning, . If we say it's bad, then there are really too many bad things. Also ,it really depend on what ur world view is . I'd like to ask a question, right now , why you eat a chicken ? Why the KFC so popular ?

Yes, I think that is bad. The way I see it, you're just as involved as the people who organize the fights and the ones who watch them.

Yes it's wrong. That's like asking if it's ok to raise children and then sell them into the sex trade.
