Definitely get in contact with a munch group in your area or nearby. Most of the larger groups have online information and e-mail address by which you can contact, so run a search for them. If you're having trouble with that, there are online directories, and you are likely to find someone that can point you in the right direction.
Don't assume that if someone is a bondage bottom that they'll go out with you after a first meeting. Simply treat people in munch groups as if they are regular people, for most of them are just regular people. Just be yourself and you'll be fine. The only real change is that you'll know that they'll be open to your interests and desires, so that should reduce or eliminate any awkwardness about your wants.
There are the online dating sites that cater to people just like you. They work to a certain extent, but nothing beats face-to-face interaction. Still, having accounts at some of these sites is not a bad idea.

My hubby and have been married for 15 years. While neither of us are into heavy bondage, it is fun to experiment with it in a lighter form from time to time. A soft whi,. light spanking, tying of the ankles and wrists, blindfolds, gags....all very typical bondage gear. It brings a little spice into the bedroom. However...it's not for everyone. Some people are disgusted by the very thought. I wouldn't suggest surprising the one you love with it unless she/he expressed some interest in it before. Communication.
