I think all parties involved suffer. So let's start with why they cheat. Sometime during the relationship something changed either due to neglect, boredom, infidelity or maybe an argument. Not to say the cheater is justified he /she just use a negative thing for ammunition to be unfaithful. The one they are cheating with suffers the most especially if they don't know the other one is spoken for, and if they do know they suffer because they know one day they will be out the door. The one doing the cheating have to deal with lies regaining trust and breaking two people hearts that he/she has feelings for. You didn't ask this but the love one is the one that is hurt the most having to deal with distrust, unfaithfulness love being violated and wondering if they did something wrong.

It is all perception. What is cheating? There are many levels of cheating. Who is to say that one level is any worse than another. I am only saying this because a person realy don't know why another person made the choice to cheat. Tell me when a woman see Tom Cruise, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt or Wesly Snipes on TV, the first thing that goes thru most of their minds is "Wow, he is so sexy" And as soon as the word sexy comes into their mind that is where (cheating really start) The same thing apply when a man sees Beyonce, Angalina Jolie, Lil Kim and the list goes on. The average person will say that there is nothing wrong with thinking that a movie star is sexy and there is nothing wrong with fantasizing about being with a star but where the problem start coming up is when that is accepted then it will also be assumed that it is okay to start thinking that your neighbor or a friend is sexy and is ok to fantasize about. Let me tell you what our good ole Bible tells us. These words are in red print which means that they are spoken by Jesus Christ. But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. (Matthew 5:28) and the same applies if a woman do the same thing. This is a topic about cheating but the mentioned writing is ment for married men and women. If a couple would date and find a mate then marry then the chances of cheating would be greatly reduced. More ppl are not wanting to be in a committed relationship and when a person is not in a committed relationship (marriage) then there are no laws preventing them from venturing out. Do the right thing and get married. If you have been dating a person for a couple of years and is not willing to marry that person and vice versa then u 2 don't need to be together. According to the Word if 2 ppl are living together and is not married they are living in sin. The more ppl that will committ to marriage and the teachings of the bible the less cheating you will see. People always have excuses for cheating! If my man cheats on me i wont take any of his lame excuses!! If you cheat, you're wrong and there is no excuse for cheating!!! I think the person who gets cheated on is the one that suffers most.

they don't cheat on their loved ones they cheat on the person their stuck with. the only ones hurt are the kids they may have and the stupid person that sticks around. If a person cheats on you think of it as a free pass to a way better life.

People cheat for various reasons. Boredom in their relationship, their mate doesn't show them any attention, new experiences, etc. Both parties suffer. They may say they don't but they lie!!

they cheat b/c they are selfish and have low self esteem.
both are suffering in different level &/or degrees.

If no one tells and he/she has enough for all in need no one gets hurt. It is only a problem for those who believe it has to be a problem.
