i had used Zone-Alarm with my internet conection with no problems. 1 day, after i opened my computer and connected to the internet, i saw that my browser keeps giving me the message "The page cannot be displayed". i called my isp and they told me it is becouse of my firewall. and indeed, after i shuted down Zone-Alarm, everything was ok, my browser did find pages again

it is true... zone alarm blocks internet connections, adjust it by going to the settings, look for the settings that prohibit your connections. when you unlock it the connection will be as normal, the advantage is that the pop-ups and unwanted sites wont be bothering you. when youre making a connection just click the pop-up from alarm zone saying if you want to allowed this program to connect to internet, click yes and evrytime your making connection that site will be allowed or that program. hope it helped.

Zone alarm isn't the best firewall around, that's why I took it off my computer, it kept blocking me from getting on the internet.
Get norton or mcafee. They're the best around!

You have to go into the settings for your fire wall and set it to allow the programs to have access to the internet or it will block them. You can set it to prompt you to allow or deny access, and you will see a pop up that asks if you want to allow or deny.

Maybe you inadvertently locked the internet or had it set to lock under certain circumstances, check your Zonealarm settings!

check your zone-alarm settings. something got changed in your settings that won't allow you to browse.
