Would not the matriarchal honor continue up the chain of ancestors? If not ,why?

Mary has over the years been exalted to God's Mom status, so it follows that at some point we will need to recognize the importance of Mary's mother!
I mean, there is a movement to exalt Mary to Co-Mediatrix on equal ground with Jesus Christ!

I would like to follow through on the idea that God is our Father and Jesus, as his son, is then our brother. If Jesus is our brother, and Mary is his mother, this makes Mary our mother as well. And Mary had God's child outside of wedlock, and although there was no sexual relation, this would make Jesus a ba*****. Jesus would also be Mary's brother, as he is everyones brother, so his mother is his sister as is his mother's mother, and, ultimately, Jesus had two dads, Mary's husband, and God.

Mary was given the titles the 'Mother of God' and 'Queen of Heaven' by the Roman Catholics.

This is untrue, because the before the Roman Catholic was ever founded, the Romans worshipped a pagan Godess (Greek or Roman, I'm not sure) who also had an infant son with her. The fall of the Roman empire caused the Romans to popularize their concept of the pagan Godess - so they did it through by Roman Catholicsm - having Mary (and the infant Jesus) with the titles mentioned earlier.

I have nothing against Mary, in fact, she is such an example to us all - becoming so obedient to carry the Saviour of the world even when it costed her her reputation and her dignity (including her husband Joseph at that time). Mary's famous "quote" : Be It Unto Me According To Thy Word. She is called to be the most blessed among women in the Scriptures, but NOT having the equal positions to God the Father or God the Son. The Roman Catholics have erred terribly in placing her on the same level as God the Father and God the Son, when in the actual fact, she is just a human and not God.

God is from everlasting to everlasting, He is the beginning and the end - therefore, He has (and needs) no mother. God created Mary, and not the other way around (in response to the 'Mother of God' title).

Look, God came amoung us, but he didn't just "appear", He needs to stay in heaven where he belongs. So How was He to come be with us, while we are in EXILE?

Think about it. Put yourself in God's shoes.

He did not so much as come to be a part of humanity as he came to make US a part of His Family.

All families have grandmas and grandpas.

I see no problem with this.

EDIT: also in a couple of the gospels, you will see a long line of ancestors, and these are, indeed, the relatives that go back to David, proving that he came from the House of David on both sides (the lineage of Mary and Joseph are there)

For those who don't believe that Mary was the "God Bearer" this is nothing new, for it has been a great debate since it happened, and well, you can believe that God can do impossible things if you want to. Nobody owns your heart

Excuse me, she is a mother in flesh but not the real mother of God, because there is no such a thing. God has no beginning and end that's why. She was a vessel and also a creation (just like all of us), because Jesus existed even before the birth. She was used so that Jesus will not be an alien that just popped out of nowhere. If she is also created and doesn't deserve to be praised and acknowledge as a god (because she's not). She is a sinner too like everyone. Did you know that she had a lot of children after Jesus? Now you know!!!

Mary gave birth to a very human child. God formed the infant in Mary's womb and this infant was never "God". However, God came and inhabited Jesus upon his baptism. Just as God inhabited the Ark of the original Covenant, so God inhabited Jesus as the Ark of the New Covenant - God with us INSIDE Jesus, God being the Comforter, being Spirit and not a man.

First of all, Mary, the mother of Jesus, died a natural death just like any other human being, because she was a human being, not a God.
She will be resurrected when Jesus comes to take people to Heaven.

Not once in Scripture is there any reference to our worshipping or revering her.

The Bible says we are not to make graven images of anything or bow down to them, etc. (2nd commandment. Commandments found in Exodus 20:3-17)

So all this deal about Mary is hogwash.

Mary mother of Jesus was human, the Mother God has been here as long as God the Father, Her name is Azna,She is the miracle worker, the glorious vehicle of intercession and healing support. Think about it how can there be a father without a mother,She is God's companion. They are both the power of Divine Love.

Mary gave birth to jesus as a Virgin. There was no blood relation between Mary and Jesus. Therefore there would be no relation between Mary's mother and God.

No one can be Mother or Father of God by Birth principle..

Vedic Literature states that one does not become Mother only by Giving Birth. If some one raises you from childhood, then She is also Mother. Similarly Cow Gives us her milk and so is also considered Mother. Similarly the wife of Spiritual Head also becomes our Mother.

So yes by Love and Service, one can be Glorified as Mother of God if some one loves and serves God as his son..

But that persons birth mother does not Automatically become Gods Grand mother.
Mary's mother may have some other relationship of love for God and that relationship should be taken into account.
