I was cleaning the bathtub this morning, I was in a natural state if you know what I mean LOL! Anyway, I was spraying on the scrubbing bubbles, and my dog mounted me, and held on and started you know. He even grabbed my sides w/ his paws, I freaked out and could not speak or move.What should I do about this behavior, did I do the right thing?

Mounting is more a sign of dominance than sex (unless there's a female in heat somewhere close by). You need to re-establish dominance. Get him on his back make him stay down for a couple of minutes. A loud sharp no to let him know his behavior is unacceptable before you put him on the ground is good too. Someone once told me to mount my dog and bite him on the ear to establish who was boss, but making him "bare his belly" to you is just an effective sign of submission.

I agree with the poster who recommended getting him on his back. My dog attempted to mount me a few times, but once rolled onto his back, and his throat rubbed, he accepted I am the boss.

If this is true you should not let him mount you. It is a show of dominence over you. If he does this again get him off and put him on his back. This ensures you are the dominant one.

the dog doing that is a show of dominance, don't freak just stop it and tell it no. it obviously doesn't see u as the alpha dog.

wen my dog started doing that wen he was a puppy i would hit him and say no and now he doesnt do it..o yea and ur a hott chick so maybe he just got horny who knows

wear clothes and neuter your dog. by not moving you have given your dog the "dominant" position in your relationship....
maybe you should call Cesar Millian, the Dog Whisperer.

if your dog is a boy
buy a girl dog
and if your dog is a girl
than buy her a boy dog
....
atleast you can sell the puppies and you don't have to worrie about your dog trying to hump your leg
