My personal thoughts are that the "Creator" is a manifestation of all the spiritual energy in the universe. Ever watch the first Star Wars movie, where Obi Wan sat suddenly, feeling the death of millions of people when the death star exploded a planet? That is what God is made of, was made of from the very beginning - the life-force of all the universe, which flows through the universe as physical beings or spiritual presence.

When I saw the Twin Towers fall on September 11, 2001, on the television, I felt the deaths of those people in my heart and gut, I knew then exactly what it was about. I think that is from being in touch with the spirit, which some people call God. I have thought long and hard on this my whole life.

Great question! I hope it is answered for me when someday my physical body dies and releases my spirit.

For us to have come out of nothing would have taken more years than the earth has been around - and somewhere there had to be intelligence guiding the evolutionary process - such as - do you know the location of ears on a cricket, grasshopper, etc - how is it no mistake was made and the ears did not need to move on them, however, they did on other creatures and then on mankind? So, the ideology that if nothing created God then why couldn't we have been created of nothing is as simplistic in reasoning as the theory of evolution itself. God created all - unique in design for the purpose in which it was created - why do we have changes throughout history in say the cricket - evolution - adaptation - whichever term you want to use - we all use this daily to evolve into or adapt to the circumstances we find ourselves - so, in reality evolution is a support to the creation, not its own force of creation. See how logical? Now back to who or what created God? "Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God." Psalm 90:2 Where God has chosen to be silent on providing details, maybe we should be too.

First, "humanity" does not believe taht God created us--only some people do. Second, nobody believes that humans, or anything else, "came out of nothing." Science does not teach this. The Big Bang theory simply posits that the universe we see today came out of a singularity in which all the matter in the universe was condensed to an infinitely dense point, something like a black hole. What caused it to be that way, and what the universe looked like before then, nobody knows, because no information (in the form of light, radio waves, gamma radiation, or whatever) can reach us from that time period to this one.

This Is What I Found...

We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. To do so, we must use human concepts to speak of God: "without beginning or end"; "eternal"; "infinite", etc. The Bible says that He has always existed: " . . . even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God" (Psalm 90:2). And, "Your throne is established from of old; Thou art from everlasting" (Psalm 93:2). Quite simply, God has no beginning and no end. So, where did God come from? He didn't. He always was.
Also, physics has shown that time is a property that is the result of the existence of matter. Time exists when matter exists. Time has even been called the fourth dimension. But God is not matter. In fact, God created matter. He created the universe. So, time began when God created the universe. Before that, God was simply existing and time had no meaning (except conceptually), no relation to Him. Therefore, to ask where God came from is to ask a question that cannot really be applied to God in the first place. Because time has no meaning with God in relation to who He is, eternity is also not something that can be absolutely related to God. God is even beyond eternity.

Does That Help?

The concept of God would involve an infinite force with no origin or destination. God does not live in only present, but the past and future as well. I'm guess you don't quite grasp the concept of infinity then, so I'd suggest some high school math Calculus or some Adv. Algebra. Good luck and God Bless.

Since our intellect is limited, where God came from is just something we do not need to know. We could be told, but we would not understand. We cannot even get a handle on the things that we do know. There is a God, believe it or not. Origins of God will be better understood when we have passed away.

When I was a little kid, I used to wonder that all the time. There's no answering it. If you believe that God is the Creator than there is nothing or no one to create the Creator.

Personally, I believe in evolution, but I haven't a clue as to what kick started it all, maybe the Big Bang, maybe a "god".

This is the ultimate answer!!!
God is not created, He is the beginning and the end (alpha and omega). He is the all powerfull, so why are you asking who made an all powerfull One. And because if God has a creator, who created that one? It will be a long question of who created who. He is the end point, the ultimate start and end of all. Hope I cleared your mind.

God always was. It's a hard concept to explain. People have a begining and an end because we exist within the confines of time. God exists outside the box of time. He has no begining or end.

Hard to grasp I know. It's one of those things I can understand but can't quite explain to others.

god is infinite just like numbers. there is no last number they go on forever and ever and so does god. the reason we have to believe we came from a creator is because of the perfect way in which our planet sustains life. if we had made the moon, the sun and oceans then you would have a great argument. we would have a right to feel proud and god like, but we didnt. that was all here before we got here. check out this link http://reluctant-messenger.com/plan_of_God.htm
