do they get weaker?

instead of walkin them you should find a local dog park. they get to run and play with other dogs. i take my girls 6 days a week. they dont cause much problem at home and they tired when u get home. if u dont take ur dogs for a walk or a dog park, they'll get bored and most likely will start chewin ur stuff cuz they are bored and arent usin enuf energy

No they won't, not with walking. Higher impact things like running, jumping, and rough play may hurt their hips though. But low impact walking should not cause a problem unless its just aggravating an already existing "malfuntion".

Yes I think they do
A dogs vital part of exercise is taking them for walks ....
the family dog of mine got passed onto my older brother,
he never took her for walks only to the park occasionally and she ended up getting arthritis because movement of her joints weakend and sadly she had to be put down :(

NO, IN FACT SOME DOGS JUST LAY AROUND ALL DAY ALMOST EVERY DAY. BUT EXERCISE IS GOOD FOR YOUR DOG JUST LIKE US HUMANS.
