I don't really pray now, so it wouldn't change my life.

well, if there is no sin or hell, then there is no bad which means there is no good because then there is no opposite, which means there would not be GOD. so what's the point? but then if i were thinking like other people on here i would pray to him to keep in touch with the one and only and to let him know that you are thankful for life. don't get the idea that since GOD knows everything you don't have to pray to him and tell him. it is better to express the way you feel by word. then again since there is sin and hell, you can still pray for forgiveness. i wouldn't stop praying anyway.

Well if there is no Sin then there is no God if you think about it. Seriously if you can do NOTHING wrong, which face it with no sin you can do no wrong, then why would there need to be someone like that. Actually no sin would mean no free will if you ask me so if I was intended to pray I still would. My opinion. In all honesty though when you pray you ask for Forgiveness, well no need for that anymore since there is no sin, you ask for God's Blessing, well part of that is well wishing so that part would be out BUT you could still ask for your food to be blessed as well as thanking God. I think that in the end yeah we would still have reason to pray. We would be thanking God. You say well there is no Heaven or Hell. I say SO. Do you thank someone JUST HOPING they will give you something more? When I thank someone it is because they gave me something. If you feel that God gave you that food then yeah you should still pray to thank him, simply because he gave it to you. Actually it took me a moment to grasp any reason to still pray.

If there was no such thing as consequences from beginning to end, then God as we know him would be different as well. Praying is communicating with God. Communications would still happen, it would be a lot different. Everything as we know it would change. Necessity would have a new meaning, or no meaning. Some people today would say that you have finally figured it out. Do they pray?

To assume that sin, heaven, hell and wishes doesn't exist means that praying to God would definitely stop and more than anything I would assume that I wouldn't exist also!

yes, i enjoy talking to him. He is the best listener, and never judges. Sometimes you just need to get stuff off your chest. Youshouldn't pray just to go to heaven, you need a personal relationship with God to be a whole person.

the eyes of the Lord are on the Righteous, and his ears are attentive to their prayer. - 1 Peter 3:12

I would stop. There would be no reason. We usually pray to stop sin. But with no sin or Heaven or Hell, what would be the point?

Congratulations. You have just stated the very beliefs that you would deny.

Where did you get your premise? The Christian bible. And if you believe the Christian message, you would know that God exists whether you pray to Him/Her or not.

So the real question, is what do you believe?

Where is your belief because that is where

I pray to connect with my higher power. I don't know about heaven or hell. Spirituality is part of being a well-rounded person, not just kissing God's *** to make sure you don't burn in hell.
