Matt. 24:24: “False Christs and false prophets will arise and will give great signs [“miracles,” TEV] and wonders so as to mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.”
Matt. 7:15-23: “Be on the watch for the false prophets . . . Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works [“miracles,” JB, NE, TEV] in your name?’ And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness.”
These things:Tongues Prophecy and healings are to be,
as 1Cor.13:8-10 says: 8. But whether there are [gifts of] prophesying, they will be done away with; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will be done away with. 9 For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially; 10 but when that which is complete arrives, that which is partial will be done away with.

You are correct. The citation in 1 Corinthians 13 is just one that shows that the gifts of the spirit, such as prophesying, healing, and miraculously speaking and understanding a foriegn language without any previous education were things that would end after the apostolic period.

God doesn't grant people power to (miraculously) heal and (miraculously) speak in tongues today.

True Christians will know that healing is of God not of man so, no man is going to lay hands on you and you run off his stage healed - but God does still heal people in accordance to their faith in him and that he can and will.
Tongues is the ability to speak a foreign language otherwise unknown to you and yes, there are times that this gift is still bestowed upon someone - it is not the utterings and such that many congregations emotionally rev themselves up into and then someone begins babbling out in gibberish expecting someone else to come along and supposedly interpret it for the rest of the congregation - it's not necessary for the church's edification and was not a part of the church that Jesus established.
Prophesying as given in the Bible also closes with the Bible until the end times, which we are not currently in, contrary to many, now wealthy, Christian authors, when scriptures says that visions, dreams, and prophesies will be returned - but if I'm not mistaken it is quite obvious this will be returned to the Jews who were given this in the first place and not gentiles.
So True Christians know where their healing lies, their tongues, if ever expressed comes from, and their lack of need to be concerned with "modern day prophets" are in order - otherwise, they have been deluded and will most likely hear - depart from me ye workers of iniquity.

Once again I find someone who clearly does not understand the citations he given.

Math 24:24, Matt 7:15-23 does not say do not speak in tongues, do not prophesies.

1 Cor 13 etc. states that when the complete arrives [Have the complete arrived?]

Anymore quotes you want to cite out of contexts?

If these things werent practiced by true christians, then we wouldnt have to watch for these things. It doesnt say that true Christians will not do such things, it says to watch because false ones will do these too.

These verses dont show prophecy and tongues have ceased any more than knowledge has. I think if you wish to use this verse as a reason to think tongues, healing and prophecy isnt for today, you should be prepared to say knowledge isnt either ;)

prophecy stopped with the last page of the Holy Bible. Read the last page.

The Kingdom is here NOW, my friend. This is the Kingdom Jesus built and going to deliver His Kingdom too His Father.

The New Spiritual Kingdom, God will build in the New Spiritual Jerusalem.

ALL BIBLICAL PROPHECY HAS ENDED WITH THE LAST PAGE OF THE BIBLE.

Miracles ended, with the apostles. Jesus passed this power to the apostles. The apostles passed this power to nobody. The apostles could raise the dead. If the Rev, wants to meet me at a cemetary, The Rev can raise the first body out of the grave, I will raise the 2nd body out.

Amazing how your Greek refers to it as "Jesus Christ". If this means "CHRIST", How can we have a "partial Christ", a partial Word, a partial Truth, now, until He returns?

"Perfect " The Greek for this word can mean, "end".."fulfillment", "completeness",or "maturity". "Word".
The Bible is complete, it is fulfilled in prophecy, it is complete to the end, it has been wrote and done with the last page.

See thats is what I don't understand. I have heard that only certain people will be able to "truely" speak in tounges. And when this is done, it is meant in a way that no evil person can understand, however, no one can understand really, only if a person speaks in tounges, someone from the congregation will attempt to translate it. We do not know its exact meaning because no one really knows what is said while a person is speaking in tounges. At first when ever I heard it, it scared me. Now that I am older, it does not scare me, however sometimes I get a calming feeling and it is peaceful.

dude, the Corinthians one you gotta read from verse 1. Paul says that love is the most crucial thing. because spiritual gifts cannot last, but love is.

False prophets can do magic to distract people.

Matt 7, you gotta read all of the verses, man! God says that these people think that they know God but they are without goodness, kindness, and love (because they are evil) so God does not allow them to enter Heaven.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS ARE PRACTICED by true christians. But the important thing is love, kindness it self.

matthew 7
15"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

"Whether there be prophecies, they shall fail: whether there be tongues, they shall cease: whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away." I Cor. 13:8-10. The phrase, "when that which is perfect is come," is translated from the Greek phrase "to teleion". The word "teleion" is a singular neuter term which refers to ...

Jesus Christ.

Thayer's Greek-English Lexicon, p. 618, defines the phrase "to teleion" as used in I Cor. 13:10: "The perfect state of all things, to be ushered in by the ...

RETURN of Christ from heaven."

Paul said, "Now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part: but then (when that which is perfect is come) shall I know even as also I am known." I Cor. 13:12.

HERE IT IS:

When the church, having reached her state of perfection, stands face to face in the presence of God, there will be no need for prophecies, tongues healing and knowledge. But until that which is perfect (Jesus Christ) is come, that which is in part will remain. And as long as there remains prophecies and knowledge, tongues shall not cease. So Paul instructed the church to COME BEHIND IN NO GIFT, WAITING FOR THE COMING OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST. I Cor. 1:7.

Is God Healing today? YES!!! and all the other gifts are functioning Today! Until Jesus Comes we are in need of these gifts given through the Holy Spirit and those who do not believe are closing their mind and hearts from God's work.

Is there counterfeit healings, speaking in tongues etc... yeppers! Satan is always copying what God does and twists it up just enough to make it look real in hopes to decieve and pull people away from the real Work of God. Be wise, Read the Word and ask God for discernment. God will reveal it to you as long as your seeking is sincere!

For those who believe this all stopped with the bible publication... read your Word carefully. Don't pick and choose what suits you but do a full study and ask God to show and reveal it to you in His Word. But don't expect an answer unless you really do mean to know the whole truth and are willing to accept the truth once it is revealed to you. Until you come to that place you will be missing a huge part of Christianity.

Sounds like another force-feeding without thought or consideration of others.
Why don't you get a proper education so that you can discuss religion with some intelligence & common sense?
