Tell him, it is important to him...even if he will never admit it.

You never know how many chances we get to express our feelings to those we love and care about...take every oppurtunity while you can.

I was always nervous about calling and talking to my brother at first too. I thought that I would just be an annoyance. It turns out that he missed me too. He now lives in California, but it has actually strengthened our relationship. If you feel like your calling too much or anything try getting a myspace and talking him through that. Also, if he doesnt call you dont take it personally. He loves you... but is just a guy. Plus if he is only 17 he could probably use someone to talk to.

My son, tell your brother that you miss him.
It is never ever wrong to let a close family member know that you love him. That is never wrong to do. He misses you more than he may ever let you know, and he will not forget your words. I almost promise that when gets the change, he will run home to those who love him the most.

The true answer is that all guys get emotional over not seeing someone for a while. The thing is, they/we aren't too fancy of showing it. Tell him, he'll miss you too.

Absolutely tell him. It can get lonely in college and you do get homesick. He may roll his eyes, but that only means he does not know exactly how to respond to your sweet gesture. Yes, he would very much appreciate hearing it.

Yes he cares. Tell him in a funny way, like with a funny online greeting that makes him laugh instead of something gay.
