It is completely normal. Some cats throw up afterwards, but not all. My cat actually gets an upset stomach if she DOESN'T eat grass every day. It helps their digestion and gives them nutrients they don't get in their regular diet.

I have never had a cat that *didn't* eat grass or other green plants. One cat, who was strictly an indoor cat and didn't go outside even on a leash, would eat houseplants, green beans, and any other greens she could get into her mouth, presumably instead of the grass she couldn't eat. (Although she also loved pumpkin, which *was* weird...)

Yeah. My cat eats grass all the time. I'm sure it's to get a little fiber or something for digestion.

Yes, if they have an upset stomach it will help them digest. Cats generally know what is or is not okay to eat. Make sure the cat doesn't eat lillies though, it will cause kidney failure.

yes it is normal for cats to eat grass because the grass helps them to regurgitate hair balls, in fact you can buy cat grass in any pet store.

Yes, it is normal. In fact, you can buy "kitty grass" in many pet stores (apparently it's just glorified wheat grass or another similar plant, but my cats love it). Supposedly it aids digestion.

Yup. Cats use grass as a natural digestive aid when they're having "tummy trouble". Think of it as a laxitave, and that your cat is only helping itself. No worries!
