There are several traditions about Jesus living in India:
i) He went to India, and came back to Jerusalem, between the age of twelve, and thirty;
ii) He went to India after the Crucifixion;
iii) He went to India both before, and after his ministry in Galilee.
The big question is "Where is the corroborating evidence?" All we have is texts that date from centuries after the fact. Given both the inclusiveness of Hinduism, and the emphasis upon making pilgrimage to Holy Sites, fabricating the story that he lived, and died there is not out of the question.
Compounding the issue, is the fact that there are a number of parallels between the life of Jesus, the Christ of Nazareth, and Krishna.
One major gap, is the lack of such a tradition by the Mar Thoma Khristianis.

Atheist the following: before each and every thing, Jesus did stay. that's a historic incontrovertible actuality that very few historians contemporarily debate. There are writings by using Jewish philosophers besides as Romans about Jesus residing in this earth. what's disputed is that if he become the son of God or not. some historians believe that Jesus would not have died on the bypass. They communicate about particular information mutually with: death crucified takes 3 days, even if it supposedly took jesus one; they cite that once Jesus supposedly got here back, he had scars; additionally they cite that the note reincarnation skill resusitation interior the old textual content. yet another one is the undeniable actuality that the tale that he arose to heaven did not seem till later on. Historians have gone to India and placed that a guy who claimed to be Jesus lived there. It is sensible on account that Jesus stated he had to convey the full international mutually, yet when he went west, he'd die on the palms of the Roman empire. yet another element they cite is the footprints that they took of this "Jesus." The prints actual mark an same scars a human being that has been crucified would have, so it will be not achievable to be Thomas who's there because he not in any respect become crucified. yet another element they cite is that the coffin is buried in Christian flavor by using pointing in the direction of the west (or is it east? I ignore). inspite of the actuality that that's possible that that is Jesus, that's their holy land, so there is not any thanks to bypass and dig up the grave to work out what's got here upon. it will be exciting to finish that, yet i do not imagine it would do a lot. followers would say that's defective technological expertise or that God planted that to work out if we will be decieved. Jesus residing in India is fullyyt achievable.

That book is based on accounts of a Jesus-like figure in India. Sure, it sounds convincing at first, but you have to realize that those documents were written a long while after Jesus' lifetime.

Joshua ben Joseph (Jesus) did not wander outside of the known Jewish world, particular in Galilee and Judah. He was a rabbi (teacher) of the Jewish culture/religion, and according to four witnesses, he was the Jewish Messiah.
I hope you enjoy the fiction since there is nothing in the New Testament that suggested that Jesus ministry was ever intended for non Jews.
Next time, try studying the gospels and see if you see any non Jewish ideas expressed.

OMG! You bring up a great question, because Christians who believe in a God where there is no proof of existence, are asking you to proof that Jesus lived in India. They need proof that Jesus lived in India, however they dont need proof that God exists.
Now to your question, their are some that believed Jesus traveled to India because his teachings are very similar towards some Hindu or Buddhist teachings(especially buddhist siddharta gautama himself). The Bible only mentions Jesus from ages 0-2, 12years old and 30-33. 81% of Jesus life is mysterious to us and not in the bible.

Historically Jesus didn't live in India though He probably visited. Man writes things about Jesus all the time when they think they know something no one else does and usually they're wrong.

Until just very recently I had never heard of this and I've been exposed to Christian ideology my whole 42 years as my grandfather, now 85, is a retired minister and my so is my father - so I've doubts as to the legitimacy of such claims. However, it does give me something to look up the next time I'm not able to sleep.

How does it matter where Jesus Lived ??
Its Important the He lives in Our Heart.. His teaching Lives in our Work.. His Love for God lives in our desire..His mercy lives in our Compassion.. That is important...that's how we know Jesus..
That's how any Spiritual Being must be Approached..
Its Stated in Bhagavad Gita that - to Consider a servant of God to belong to a particular Sect or Place of Birth is very offensive.. Messenger of God are for all people and Live Eternally in the Kingdom of God..
