The dogs just go places that I wish that they would not and I would like to just put a certain smell down to keep them out of the area. Of course I don't want to stink up the place so I won't like it either, but I still might want to know what the worse smelling item might be just in case the weaker ones only partially work.

You could see about getting the car professionally cleaned which in theory could remove the smell of the dogs but it depends on how long they have been in the car. The longer the harder it is to remove the smell. All i can see if that you have two choices. Find another car which doesn't have dog smell or buy this car and get it professionally cleaned and if the smell doesn't go, to get rid of it. KD

Citronella Oil. Can you get that where you live? It works amazingly on all pets as well as mosquitoes and midges, but smells good to us. Great stuff but I'm not sure if it's an just Aussie thing.

Bitter Apple Spray works for my Lab...Since she knows it tastes bad, she stays away from any place she smells it. I cannot smell it at all. You can get it at any pet store.

Use bitter apple you can get it at any pet store is is wonderful get the spray.......you take it spray it in the dogs mouth then we he goes for something he will get the smell and tast you can spray it on any thing........and when the dog goes for it he will not bother it...so go and get it .......it really works........good luck...

get those doggy pads they have special pheremones in them to attract your dog ..if its tile floor spray it with bleach and wipe it up if its carpet use amonia and scrub till the smell is gone
