I need to decontaminate buildings.

when i worked in childcare, we had to take a class on universal precautions to prevent the spread of HIV and hepatitis. daily, we had to mix a 10% bleach solution for wiping down food preparation surfaces and tables where the kids played and worked. mix 9 parts water (preferably cool to prevent smelly bleach fumes) with 1 part bleach. we mixed ours in a spray bottle. the available chlorine dissipates quickly, so the solution has to be made every day.

What Larry said.  Nothing else (except maybe hydrogen peroxide) is going to work as well, and nothing will be as cheap and still work.

bleach is my friend, i love it .. and you can get it in different fragrances.
