purple heart awardees' names are kept private.... let me rephrase that.: every soldier's record is kept private unless it is released by the US Army to the media, if the record was stolen or hacked, then the information is considered invalid.

and my question would be why do you want to know?????
some who serve or have served and were wounded do not like for many outside their friends and family to know.
