Lust is what you feel at the beginning of a relationship. You feel like you'll die if you apart for long. Everything they do is so cute. Everything you do together is new and exciting. You think about the other constantly. You get nervous. Your heart beats so hard you feel like it'll beat right out of your chest. The "honey moon" phase. Love comes later in a relationship. You are okay not being with each other constantly and consider space a good thing. You learn all those things that you once thought were so cute aren't so cute anymore, but are okay because it makes them human and you love them in spite of it. Everything you do together is more comfortable. You have things on your mind other than your partner and it is easier to function like a normal human being with out being all dreamy eyed 24/7. The nervousness fades and the comfort zone sets in. You don't worry so much about if you are going to have a heart attack every time you see them. The honey moon phase is over, but a new more real longer lasting chapter begins.

When I separate the person from who they are, i.e. a body part, that person has an incredible bottom, or they are hot, I am separating the person from who they are to how they appear/look. I am also idealizing who they are based on the objectification of their body, i.e., because that person is hot, I would like to get to know them, or somehow they are appealing emotionally mentally because they are hot. As I am objectifying, lust shows itself in fantasy. What would I like, what would I like to do with and to them. So I would say when the idealized picture of this person is replaced with reality, IE., who they really are. You can accept and be willing to see past faults, issues, problems because Love carries no jealousy, love doesn't judge, love don't do anything for self gratitude, love gives unconditionally, love is trust, love is respect, love is truth!

Lust is the feeling you get when you are first attracted to a person.. love comes with knowing the person who they are what they are and how they are.. true lasting love takes time.. attraction is good but love is better when you take your time...

Lust is a selfish desire to satisfy your emotional and physical needs through a romantic relationship.

Love is putting someone elses needs in front of your wants. Even if it means sacrificing something(example: time, money, feelings)

I think we would have to know your age before any real advice be given.

If your a young teen I would dare say that most relationships are stationed on lust.
