They will even send you pictures a few years old thinking you will not notice thay have gained 50 pounds or that fact thay are 10 years older. I feel they don't think men are stupid or something.

We just lack of confidence. thats all. Don't think too much of it, okay? By the way, I never do that, but I think this maybe the reason if I ever do that in future.

Because the medias perception of beauty has been shoved down our throats for so long that a lot of us actually believe women look like that. Celebreties and models represent the top five percent, not the other ninety five percent. We are all made to feel old and fat if we are not eighteen and weigh 98 pounds. God forbid we ever had a baby. It takes forever to lose that weight. Women crave love and family and a lot of them are not above lying about a few things to get it.

I don't lie about either. I'm 17, turning 18 on July 25. I am 5'9", and I weigh about 145, give or take a few pounds ( I haven't weighed in in a while) All muscle.

Women have needs different than men...we need to feel beautiful. If we lie enough about our age or weight we may start believing it ourselves. And it sure doesn't help that society expects men and women alike to be horribly thin and sickly looking in order to be considered attractive. If you are not like that you are frowned upon. We just like to FEEl pretty and sexy and desired.....it doesn't do any harm to anyone. I apologize for all women who have done it to you in the past or who will do it to you in the future! Although I am not one of those women myself....

Many men and women are superficial and judge women desirable based on youth and being slim. Unfortunately many people buy into this and some women and men feel they have to buy into this for acceptance.

This country makes women who aren't 25 years old and weigh 110 lbs feel unwanted and unsexy. Sorry, but some men are very stupid and very shallow.

the media with their stick skinny models and their version of beauty makes girls self-conscious even though everyone is beautiful in their own way
i don't lie about my weight or age because im comfortable how i am and my boyfriend loves me the way i am too

Because they want to fit in with society's veiw, and they want you to fall in love, or lust, with their personality, and they feel that if you like them, for them, enough, that they (the men), will overlook the extra weight or years. Because they are a little insecure
And not all women do. I never did to my hubby; whom I met online.
