Is it always right? Could it be nothing more than PMS for girls? Is it our 6th sense? Can it be trusted? Ignored?

I believe that your gut feeling comes from your subconscious.

Your subconscious is able to pick up on subtle things that consciously you may not even be aware of. It could be triggers by someones tone of voice when they ask u do do something or a slight quiver of nervousness before you let that stranger into your house. Whatever the reason, I think you should at least consider what your "gut feeling" is telling you.

Some people call it a sixth sense. I just believe there are curtain things that we just know by picking up on the smaller things subconsciously.

Usually, they're right. If you find that your gut feelings tend to work out, go for them. Some people's gut feelings are always wrong--my ex-husband, for example was ALWAYS wrong when he had a "gut feeling". My best friend, on the other hand, is always right when he has one. Pay attention to the results, and you can tell whether yours are right or wrong.

And PMS is very real; it's caused by hormonal imbalances, and can usually be cured by 500 mg of Vitamin 6 per day.

Sometimes when you have a gut feeling about something, never jump to conclusion that this can be a sixth sense like you said but rather look at the situation you're in first...are u nervous, anxious because somethin just happened or did you eat somethin that you're stomach didn't agree or are you just in an overall slumpy mood...it none of those things apply...then you probably have a gut feeling about somethin...most of the time it can be trusted and in rare cases it can't...but to be safe...do everything logically

No one or nothing is ever always right but going with a gut feeling I'd say beats many other types of feelings. The only way you'll know it can be trusted is to go with it and see what happens.

I will say one thing--never bet using your gut feelings. Always bet logically and with the odds not against them.

I would weigh it against facts though with relationship things that could be hard and use a 2:1 gut to fact ratio to figure out a good answer also think about all the possible outcomes aslong as it isn't something absolutely stupid like trying drugs or jumping off cliffs why not?

I ALWAYS go with my gut feelings and it has not been wrong yet. Trust your inner self, whether you believe it to be 6th sense, a guardian angel whispering to you, or something else. That feeling you are getting is usually right on the money.

Always trust your gut!! Sometimes good comes out of you following it. And from time to time bad comes from it, however; you should always trust it. It isn't always the good thing to do, but it's always the right thing to do. I know for a fact that sometimes trusting your gut is hard, but you always should. Also: when in doubt, remember, "Everything happens for a reason."

Go with your gut feeling. It may be something that you dont wanna deal with but if you let it go the problem could progress. If you nip it in the butt right away, chances are you could save the relationship if the other half is willing to work through it.

I think "our gut" feeling is GOD"S way of telling us what to do. Just like when you hear that inner voice talking to you when you start to do something you know you shouldn't be doing. I have always heard to trust you gut feeling.

A gut feeling may not always be right, but better safe than sorry when it comes to relationships.
