Everyone of us needs money - and you seem to need it for very practical purposes :
As you are underage, the question of getting a regular salaried job does not arise.
You can go for babysitting assignments - and get paid at least $ 5/- per hour. If you prove popular with the kids, this may get you lots of work plus regular bonuses too.
Or you can even try your hand at delivering newspapers - but you will have stiff competition from the boys !
On an offbeat mode, you could also try your luck at modelling : Prepare a modest 'portfolio' of yourself [Extreme Close Up, Close Up, Mid Shot, and Long Shot digital photos, highlighting your face and features], caption/date all the pics, and copy them all onto a CD - along with a resume file, giving full details about yourself, and how you can be contacted. Make duplicate copies of this CD.
Find out about the Ad Agencies, Talent Scouts and Model Coordinators in your city - and visit as many as you can, to leave a copy of your Portfolio CD with them. If luck smiles, you might get assignments right away ! And the pay will be very good.
[As you are still a 'minor', your ma will have to do the signing on your behalf in all the legal documents and modelling contracts.]

hi erica - do you have any neighbors with young kids? they would probably love to have you babysit! that's what i did when i was 14 and it was a good job. moms always need a break and if you do a good job with one family, word will get around that you work hard and other families will want you to come care for their kids, too.

Get a work permit depending on where you live if you are old enough to work in restaurants or stores. Or ask around if you attend a church to see if any one may need a baby sitter or check with neighbors or parent's friends.

Well my opinion would be for you to pick a newsstand or pick a babysitting job put a job out for a babysitting job.

Only thing I can think of is babysitting, car washing, lawn mowing, tutoring other students if you are smart, walking dogs.

see if a church near you has anyone that could use babysitters, good sitters are worth their weight in gold!
