When he cannot see you eye to eye while you are asking questions to which he cannot answer as true. A lot of alibis and evasions are also signs. Beware of a guy who is only playing.

Unfortunately, many men are very good at acting.If you really believe your being played, increase the stakes of the game.
Tell him you want him to meet your parents, come over for dinner,and really get to know the family.Hint about marriage, that usually gets them running for the door.Be persistent in your quest for a real answer.Should the above not work, try the [are you playing with my feelings?] scenario. See if you can spot truth or lies?

When you ask yourself that question. Trust your instinct, it is trying to tell you something. It he is playing head games then that is a definite sign, don't sucker yourself in on the he is a great guy at times, it is an act. He is playing you right into your hands.

Kinda pull a prank on him ask a friend of yours to go with him to a party are whatever if he trys to score r anything like that that is cheating pick him off right there if not thats a keper

Ask to meet his parents. Ask to meet his friends. If he doesn't want to do that much....follow your gut. He's probably playing you. Any guy who is not playing you and truly wants to get to know you better, would LOVE to have you involved in his life. That includes meeting his friends and family.

You'll know when he says one thing but does quite another...or when his words say he loves u but his actions do not...and when he's not talking to you about how he feels about things that affect him and you ..and all he cares about is to pass times with u when there's nothing else to do!
