I think that to be saved you have to truly believe Jesus christ is your savior and if you believe that chances are you wouldn't commit suicide..... because This is the life God gave you .... you aren;t the one to deside when its over. He is.

It really depends on the church you are listening to. Baptist churches believe "once saved, always saved." In other words, if you EVER had Jesus in your heart, you will go to Heaven when you die, even if that death is by suicide. Catholics and some other churches believe that suicide is a ticket straight to Hell because you are throwing away the second-greatest gift that God has ever given you by destroying your body. I don't believe in "once saved, always saved", but I don't know that suicide dooms you to Hell, either.
The honest truth is that the Bible hardly says anything about suicide. We should leave it in God's hands and try to dissuade others from committing this terrible act, both for the sake of their physical life (definitely) and their eternal salvation (possibly).

Someone touched on this a little, but here it goes. Most mentally sound people don't commit suicide, only people who have some type of serious mental problem, chemical or otherwise, and thus do not have the capacity to think rationally in a traditional sense. So, the real question becomes, does God turn away someone who had a serious mental problem that lead to them taking their own life, or more simply put, would God turn away someone who literally can't thing straight? I personally can't believe he would, and it seems it would go against that idea of grace. What kind of grace would turn away a child of God with a severely dysfunctioning mind? * by the way, just because you are Christian doesn't mean God will protect you from becoming chemically unbalanced which can cause suicidal thoughts and tendencies. This kind of thought is rediculous and unbiblical.

Good question was about suicide. Yes, according to Hebrews 11:32 - Samson who is one of the heroes of the faith and committed suicide was with the lord.
I'm not a Catholic, but if you want to know where the Catholic Church stands, read point 2383 in the Catechism and you will see that God has a special place, a remedy for those he loves and who commit suicide.
I have known people who have committed suicide - people that I respected and even Christians and certainly God has the answer for all of our depressions and problems.
He is such a tender, loving savior. Listen to Jesus in John 14:1, “Let not your heart be troubled”, then down to verse 27, Jesus said, “peace, I leave with you. My peace I give unto you - not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid.". You know how you can have peace? Psalm 119:165. “They that love thy word have peace.” It is because we are not in the Book daily. This is our strength and then prayer – Philippians 4:6-7, “Be anxious about nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication let your requests be known unto God and the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your heart and mind.” You don't have to carry these burdens. Listen again to Jesus in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me all you that labor and are heavy laden with the burdens of life. When you come I will give you rest.” Give the Lord a chance, today. Get into the book and on your knees in prayer.

I believe that you would go to heaven only if you accepted Jesus in your life. He died for our sins to be washed away and he will love you no matter what. why would people say that you would go to hell for committing a sin? in God's eyes all sins are the same and yet he took them all away. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't try our hardest to live sinless like he did but we need to remember that he was sinless and he still died for all of us because we sinned. what a wonderful gift to us... so i believe if and only if you have Jesus in your life and commit suicide that you will still go to heaven. Hallelujah God is good!

The apostle Paul wrote, concerning the fact that Jesus had just paid the debt for all our sins, that
All is allowed for us, but not all is good for us.
Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
So yes, the penalty for suicide might very well have been hell, but Jesus paid the debt already, no hell for sinning believers.

Suicides are more likely to go to heaven than born-again bigots because even God would realize they are mentally ill to want to kill themselves. where as, the born again thinks aaaas long as he/she keeps telling others they are going to hell, they have a get into heaven free card. Good luck with that!

You will go to Heaven, if Christ is truly in your heart. But it's not good to commit suicide.

Bottom-line up front: You will still go to heaven if you are Saved. God is not an "indian-giver" and does not take back his gift of eternal life!
Have you ever-heard of the concept of Eternal Security?
As Christians, our greatest hope and confidence lies in the fact that at the moment of salvation we have eternal life. The indwelling of all three members of the Trinity, received at the moment of salvation, guarantees us eternal security. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit indwell the believer's body to guarantee that he cannot lose his salvation. As the Lord said in the Gospel of John, we receive salvation by our decision to believe in the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross as the Son of God.
John 6:28 29 Therefore they said to Him, "What shall we do, so that we may work the works of God?" Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent."
Salvation is the result of a single non-meritorious act of faith on our part and relies totally upon the grace of God. We cannot do anything to earn or deserve it, nor can we do anything to lose it. Salvation is a grace gift from God through faith, Ephesians 2:8-9, For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; not as a result of works [any human effort to attain salvation, ref: Isaiah 64:6], so that no one may boast.
As believers, we fail miserably over and over again, often living worse than an unbeliever. But there is no sin we will ever commit that can undo the perfect salvation work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross, which means that we cannot lose our salvation, and once we are saved, we are always saved. Salvation is contingent only upon one's belief in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus Christ indwells the believer's body for security, protection and a guarantee that the believer has eternal life. In fact, the moment that the believer dies, he is, absent from the body and at home with the Lord, 2 Corinthians 5:8. The first person the believer will see in Heaven when he leaves his earthly body through physical death is the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Word of God is very clear on the subject of eternal security; unfortunately, many believers are ignorant of this very important doctrine and waste much of their time and energy performing a variety of works in an attempt to earn and keep their salvation. God desires that we know and understand the truth of eternal security, which will provide us with the foundation to live the spiritual life and become a winner in the predesigned plan of God. There is only one way to receive salvation and nothing we can do to lose it once we receive it.

I believe they will go to heaven. Though they "destroyed the temple", the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. God knows the desires and intents of our hearts. He will have mercy on whomever He chooses.
