Our US troops are strong brave men who risk their lives to protect us & others. They do their duty at the expense of a normal family life. They miss birthdays, surgeries of family members & deaths of loved ones & births of new babies.

Out of 160,000 soldiers, we have had 11 accused of wrong doings. LA had 15 muders per 100,000 last year. Canada had 9 murders per 100,000. We have been in Iraq for 4 years and averaged 3 murders or wrongful crimes per 160,000. That makes our soldiers 3 times more honorable than the Canadians & 5 times more honorable than people in LA. nothing personal, just the stats according to NY Times.

These are well trained honorable men that I respect & support with all my heart.

ALWAYS!! For the troops around the world we can never repay them.
Music coming from people like Hearts N Minds and Luke Stricklin (both have samples at myspace) tell a much different story than the media does, as does "Active Duty: Letters To Home From Iraq" by SSG Jason Adams. The support helps. It shouldn't be about politics all the time.

As a military wife, I understood what we were getting into the day my husband was sworn in. However not all jobs require people to stay away from their family and loved ones for so long for such a dangerous job. I supported our troops before my husband entered. Yes they know what lies ahead of them and yet they still stand their and swear to honor their country no matter what the cost......
That is the most honorable thing I have ever witnessed in my life.
I agree with a lot of different views, but no matter the politics these soldiers no matter which service they are in, deserve to be supported. I really hope America does not return to the hate we had for our soldiers in previous wars that "American People" didn't agree with. It is not their fault, and they want to keep us free and SAFE. I know the our Lord blesses all of us; and he also listens to prayer. And I know that he hears an awful lot of prayers for our soldiers.

GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!! ALL OF THEM AND BRING THEM HOME SAFE AND SOUND!!

"i get tired of this "god bless the troops" crap!!!!

how about god bless everybody!!!! all humans, all soldiers around the world who risk their lives everyday..... god doesn't care more about Americans because they are Americans!!! all should be blessed!!!! god knows no borders or boundaries... and he sure doesn't take sides in this war we have gotten ourselves into

and no i am not grateful for their efforts it's their damn job.... they signed up for it knowing what it entails and they get paid for doing it.... just like i signed up for my job knowing what it entails...... their efforts are futile because Iraq must fight for the own freedom.... just like we did on this day fourth of July a few centuries ago!!!!!! "

First off, you are an IDIOT!!!!!
Second off, yes, God does love everybody equally, but you are too much of a religious nut who pushes it on everybody. BACK OFF ABOUT IT!
Third off, yes, all the men and women who serve know what could happen when they signed up. They are risking their lives out there everyday b/c it is their job. And yes, they are getting paid for it, but that's damn near moot when it comes down to it b/c of the fact they could get killed at anytime.
Finally, what we did to fight for our freedom over two hundred years ago is alot different then what is happening today in Iraq. Back then, the world was still a vast place, today, it is so much smaller and compact, where everything that happens can be found out by just using a computer with an internet connection.

I agree...God Bless our Troops! Now with that said...we can't be negative towards our Military because of the stupidity of our leaders. They are just doing what Bush has ordered them to do.

to the crazy religiuos pusher.... do you really think troops go in a combat environment for the 250 a month hostile fire pay.... If so would you be willing to let people shoot at you 24 hours a day for a month straight for 250? just wondering. We'll keep fighting for your freedom of speech though.

110%
and as for the guy that says hes tired of the "God Bless Our Troops" uhh.."crap"

seriously though, go fxck yourself. I understand that what they signed up for is they`re job..and i`m sure they were very aware when they signed up for it. but they are risking they`re lives out there, for you, and all the other Americans, so get the fxck over yourself and show some decency and gratitude.
