my parents want me to get braces but ifeel hesitated as it will make me feel inferior .what should i do?

My parents wanted me to get braces as well their not as bad as people think they are, yeah you might get chapped lips sometimes thats what chapstick is for and yeah sometimes the brackets cut into my inside cheeks, their actually kinda cool, my 10 year old cousin has some right now, they don't bug her and she's a winey child too and she still says that they don't hurt and plus if ur a chick some guys find that attractive, my sister's boyfriend says they drive him wild! Crazy huh? lol, just get em' and wear em' before ur senior year comes around then their gonna suck around senior picture time!, well good luck and i wish u the best of luck that u have a good doc that gives u plenty of bracket cleaners! well bye!

I have braces, and never really realized how crooked my teeth were. I just had a small gap in the middle, and an overbite. I have had my braces on for over a year now, no gaps, and my bite has opened up tremendously. They make such a difference, and you will not regret getting them. You will be so pleased with your teeth straight, and its a confidence booster as well. Trust me, get them. You will be happy you did....

You are far better to get the braces now and feel great about yourself for the rest of your life than to have no braces, feel OK for 2 years and then realise that no-one likes you with crooked teeth and have them like that for life.
PS Get them while you parents are paying, they are really expensive to get yourself later in life. Tom Cruise did it when he was 30something!

I Don't Know what inferior means, but I got mine on not to long ago and it does not hurt.Just tell your friends (if they laugh at you)
that they will have too get them soon.

if your teeth are not straight let them fix it. i think braces are kinda cute, and crooked teeth are definitely not sexy.
