Anything that works your heart and the rest of your cardiovascular system. Exercises that do that tend to burn the most calories off your body.

Avoid weight training. Doing so will actually make you gain weight as muscle is heavier than fat. It also won't do much for your overall health as they minimally exercise your cardiovascular system to be more effective.

Some of the exercises you can actually stop are :
1. put less food into your mouth (especially some of the favourite red meat)
- this reduces exercising of the jaws (mouth)
2. fingers exercise with TV or Video remote
- walk to the TV or other entertaining equipment
3. fire the helper in the house (domestic helper)
- you will lose some exercising of raising your voice to command the helper, etc

Right - eat balance meal, and eat just enough.

along with a balanced meal plan, you should combine aerobics with weight/resistance training. you should include weight training because it builds muscle which burns more calories even at rest. muscle does not weight more than fat; a pound of fat weighs just the same as a pound of muscle. fat takes up more room while muscle is more dense. some great cardio exercises could be walking, swimming, step aerobics, tae-bo, dancing, running, speed walking, jumping on a trampoline, jump roping. there are a lot of excellent dvd's, exercise tapes, that incorporate both aerobics and light muscle toning exercises. if you are female, don't be afraid to lift weight. women are basically incapable of getting as big as men unless they are taking horomones or steroids. drink plenty of water and green tea, get plenty of rest. invest in a pedometer and reach a goal of at least 10,000 steps a day then increase. the idea is to stay active. good luck

SWIMMING!

Seriously, you burn way more energy swimming than you do for anything else. And, as a bonus, there is not impact whatsoever on your joints; so you could still walk when you're 80.

Just make sure that after you are done swimming, you don't pig out. You will be starving after a good 30 sprints. You might want to try WHEY powder as a meal replacement after you get out of the pool. Found at all health stores.

The best method for losing weight is cardio. Walk for at least an hour or run for at leat 30 minutes to get your heart rate up and get in the fat burning zone.

ANY type of exercise is best.

Walking, Swimming, Biking are low impact.

Take things slow at first then build up. Adding resistance and cardio also helps.

One you must have an "controled diet" to make any exercise program work. I have had very good luck with walking on a treadmill or not, water arobics, but if you really want a extreme work out try kickboxing, man u hurt, LOL.
