i am a non-medical student,ican't devote much time towards my health .so please tellme a less time consuming way

dont cut out meals.... it will only hurt you... eat at LEAST 3 meals a day... I'm serious
your body needs X amount of food, and if you deprive your body of X amount of food you will lose weight... for a week and then when you start to eat regularly again, as a defensive measure, your body will store extra weight in case you decide to deprive it again..... so you lose 15 pounds in a week, but gain 25 pounds in the next 3 weeks..... not what your after

i suggest you take a physical education course as an elective, like a fitness running course, or yoga, that way you get credits toward your degree, and can use that time to get into shape. you should eat a big big breakfast, and smaller lunch's and dinners, and try fruits and veggies for lunch. you will burn off the breakfast throughout the day, and your lunch's and dinner will give your body the nutrient's it needs. I also worked out for about a half an hour 4 times a week, including cardio 2xs a week, and resistance training 2xs a week.

i lost 15 percent of my body fat, and am very healthy now... it worked for me, and it should work for about anyone

Running is a great way to slim down. I started out with 20 to 30 minutes a day for 4 to 5 days a week and lost 5 pounds and a few inches within three weeks. It's a high energy cardio that, while difficult to do at first, will definitely whip your body into shape quickly. It doesn't take up that much time (you can run around your neighborhood or your campus), and it's cheap: all you need are a pair of running shoes and a workout outfit.

Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

make sure to watch the carbs and calories and exersice at least 3 or 4 times a week running is a good way to lose weight go runnning or jogging for about 30 or 45 minutes stay away fatty foods like fast food stuff and if ur eating hambuger meat that you cooked drain the grease out eat lean & healthy meals good luck :)

working out is always going to be the best way. But it might be time consuming. So try a new diet.

Cut food consumtion a little each day.. your stomach will get used to it little by little and you soon wont be as hungry. Also try talking morning walks... they arent the time consuming and are good for your spirit!

I agree w ohthechemistry...try running. 4x or 5x a week...and do some weights on the other days if you have time. You will lose weight AND you will become fitter!

Make sure you eat every meal healthy. If you dont have time to prepare healthy meals, prepare healthy snacks. Its better than nothing. Good Luck!
