I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.
I cured my Asthma the natural way?

Generally any asthma symptoms after age 12(?) are a permanent disqualification from military service. Any asthma symptoms that appear in basic training will result in an immediate medical separation.

They said down at meps. If you have asthma you can be accepted in. But you have to go through some kind of process. Talk to a recruiter. Go to meps and find out. It is the only way you will know for sure rather you will be able to or not.

Probably not...at least not in a combat role.
However, there are certain staff roles where the rules are a little bit more flexible, especially in the case of a professional like a doctor, lawyer, etc.
But any case that was cronic that required regular medication would probably be disqualified on the simple basis of the logistics required to support that health problem if you had to be deployed.

No, I don't think so. Maybe some parts of the military will, though.
