I still hear them going off here too - it's 11:30 EST. According to the law, they must end at midnight on the 4th (11 p.m. all other days of the year). Unfortunately, I can't tell who is setting them off or I would call the cops (at midnight). It's very annoying. They've been doing it now for over a week. Just became legal in the state of Indiana to set them off in your backyard. Glad I don't live next door to the jerks!

Yes..you can call the police..but...here's the bad news..they have so many calls tonight about late, late night fireworks going off..you more than likely won't get any kind of response...So..since I'm in somewhat of the same situation..my plan is to shepherd my cats...Jake and Milo..into my bedroom and turn ON a large fan to mask the noise. Kitties are much happier and so am I...I can get some sleep. Good luck.

Call the non-emergency number. Give your name. An anonymous reporting party doesn't give us cops much of a reason to hunt down something that doesn't bug us too much, afterall, we're awake anyway.

Be prepared to wait. Our city (in Central California) gets A LOT of fireworks calls. My dispatchers don't even send us to each individually, they'll do a radio broadcast and cover a bunch at once.

BUT HERE'S A NOVEL IDEA:
Go out and ask them to please stop. Remember, be nice! If some of you people would just be a little more neighborly, half of these bulls**t calls wouldn't come into my department and I could friggin arrest some real criminals.

Call them! They obviously have no respect for you or anyone else if they are making that much noise. Besides, how many people on your street have children? I can assure you they are busy trying to soothe them back to sleep. Many cities have also banned fireworks, and if your's has, they are definitely breaking the law.
