Milk will usually come in about 2 weeks before puppies come. You can offer her a treat, and if she takes it, you know that you can relax at least 6 hours. If she refuses, its time to get her to the blankets and she will begin labor within 6 hours.
Hope this helps....what the other answer said about panting, etc is correct, ( I would add whining, and blood shot eyes are common, about 2 hours before puppies are whelped) and gestation is 63 days, give or take 5 days.

first off dogs know what they are doing better than we do. have a good place for her to have the pups out of the weather perferbly indoors.(with a first litter sometimes they "forget"to lay with the pups)you will want her where you can keep a very close eye on her and make sure she feeds them regurlaly. If she does happen to have the pups in the "hole" if it is in a improperplace wait till she has the pups and them move them all useing a towel lined clothes basket to your predesignated nest. Note: she can walk she will follow the babys and if she dont follow right away hold one up and let it sweak just a bit to get her attention. signs you will want to watch for is swelling and wetness to her um you know. she may want to be nearer to you than usuall. a good rule of thumb is to calculate from when she was in heat to see when shes due. OH and dont be at all surprized if all that Big with pups is only 1 or 2. if she will let you you can possably roll her on her back and rubb her belly and actually feel the individual pups. they will probly be about the size of a fist. at full term. its kinda neet to do this and most mama dogs to be love the attention. notice i said most some just want to be left alone. lol.

Any dog weather it's half wolf or purebred Dalmation, they all want to be in a quiet place. My Pit had her puppies by herself in our closet. Everything was perfect. Let her have her hole and lie in it too. :) No serious, she will be more comfortable. I would think basically all dogs are different just like people. When my female was ready, of course she is lying still, and doing heavy panting, towards the end right before she was ready, she would not even get up to get more comfortable (if that's possible). Just watch her, and make sure she is comfortable. If you need to know more closely, please call your vet. Congratulations.

First of all, take her temp. Her temp will drop soon before she has the puppies. That and the nesting is a good sign too. If you haven't yet...take her to your vet for xrays....they can count the heads and let you know how many she should be having. May also help determine how long until she has her babies. We usually do this about 57-58 days.

if she half wolf and dug a hole she might be digging a den and you'll know when she going to have her puppies because her water will break let her have her babies where ever but if their born someplace unsafe after their all born move them to the place you set up but if their safe let them be motherhood is in her blood or most female dogs at less
good luck with the new litter

No dont let her have her puppies outside.. Bring her in and only let her out to potty with you with her.

And you really shouldn't be breeding a part wolf dog, let alone any dog when you have no idea what you are doing.

She will start to pant a lot, and start digging for a place to have them, this is called nesting. She her where you want her to have them and shred paper for her to dig at.

If you don't know when she mated its going to be hard to know when she is due, approx days of gestation is 63

I hope the "hole" is not outside and you are one of those people that will let her have puppies outside.
Many dogs dig holes outside during nesting. It does not mean they should give birth there.

And you should know when she was bred, so you should know when she is due. 58-63 days is gestation. Please do some research before breeding again!!!!!!
