2 mg will probably knock you out. I was on .5 mg and that did the trick for me when I was suffering from anxiety. Your doctor who precribed the pills for you would know exactly how much you need. IF you feel they are too strong then go back and advise your doctor and he will probably change the dosage.

a the lowest dose of xanax is 0.25mg not 2mg for one http://www.webmd.com/drugs/drug-9824-Xanax+Oral.aspx?drugid=9824&drugname=Xanax+Oral&pagenumber=2 heres the link. I also used to take xanax for anxiety and unless you need it to clam u down immedatly then I have found Kolaipin not spelled right sorry, Clonazepam gerneric word works much better. Gives u the clamness you need at first but stays in your system alot longer. And easier to stop using when u want to.

I'm not sure about the dosage, but I am sure that it's addictive. Kolonapin also. Ativan also. Basically, anything that achieves the effect, including and especially ALCOHOL, will be addictive. In other words, do anything you can to NOT be on any substance whatsoever. I de-toxed from alcohol, and in the first two days I was there they gave me FORTY phenyl-barbitol, and TWENTY-FOUR Ativan. You could dart a Rhino with that much sedative (not actually) but all it did was make me feel "comfortable." I don't know how old you are, but trust me when I say I know that any benzodiazepine, hydrocodone (Vicodin,) alcohol or any other sedative or analgesic substance WILL cause you problems later in your life. I know it sounds boring, but trust me - I speak from experience.

do no longer take xanax to get severe, all this is going to do is make you experience like canines ****. And its extremely quit risky, too lots and your coronary heart can end. Taking to lots xanax isnt like smoking weed the place you experience calm and greater creative and basically happy.

Your doctor prescribes meds based on your condition in addition to your body size. It all depends on what he/she is trying to accomplish healthwise for you by prescribing xanax.

nopers - that's the lowest dose possible, and it actually works - you don't wanna go any stronger than 2 mg's if possible. Maybe if you don't notice a change, or they start happening more frequently, check in with your doc.

and, like i've said before, you can go to http://www.webmd.com to find drug info =)
