Whether you agree with the war or not, is not my question. Do you support the US troops, is my question. Do you support our military men and women through their great trials?

Yes of course they are acting on our behalf and we should all remember to pray for their safety and return.

Yes! Absolutely! I support the U.S. troops 100%!
What I don't support is the 'evil empire' that has sent them into harm's way for no justifiable reason. The Bush administration illegally and uncontitutionally invaded another sovereign nation for only two reasons: 1) George Bush wanted to 'get even' with Hussein for humiliating his daddy during Desert Storm, and 2) Big Dick Cheney wants all that oil swimming underneath Iraq's sands.

There will be NO TROOP WITHDRAWALS FROM IRAQ
until Cheney has a rock-solid, iron-clad arrangement in place (in compliance with the new 'puppet' Iraqi government he helped install) to take all that OIL.

Our military troops are the best in the world. It's too bad they're taking orders from such an insipid Commander-In-Chief who has no qualms about playing cowboys and Indians as long as he doesn't get any dirt or blood on his own hands. -RKO-

Yes, I support the troops. I just wish congress did. I know that a lot of the troops have to supply their own equipment because the military cannot. But, if they were home, where they belong, instead of fighting a mis-guided war, this would be a moot point and a unnecessary question.

If you're supporting the troops, you're supporting a President that used lies to go to war, which in turn has destabilized an entire region and has begun to seriously impact the global economy.

One president got his jollies on in the white house, and we try to impeach him.

The other lied and has indirectly been the reason for the deaths of thousands upon thousands, has taken away certain civil liberties, has altered the Constitution of the united states, has broken the very own laws he says he will uphold and yet is still in control of the government.

Open your eyes. Our troops are expendable. They are a tool of the government.

It's all about oil and who controls it.

I see everyone's answers on here and I just wanted to say THANK YOU! Wars are political and because of that, there will be people who support the war and people who don't. I think most people truly do support the troops regardless of what we're fighting about and I appreciate that.
Also, just like in society, there are crooks in the military. We've seen that time and time again. Please don't let the actions of a few idiots change your perception of the military. Most of us have morales and integrity.

I dont think any American doesnt support our troops; I think people misinterpret disapproval of the leadership as disapproval of the soldiers. I am often characterized by right-wingers as being unamerican because I was against the Iraq War, however, I never rooted for our troops to fail so that I would be right.

Absolutely. Every American in this country should support the troops especially those who hate America. The troops are the ones who secure their rights to burn the flag or talk trash on this great country.

We support our solders because they are our people.
Back when I was a solder during the Vietnam conflict, we had no support, people THINK that by calling us names we would lay down out weapons and die, thereby ending the war. People back then said what they meant and held back no punches.

Now, people are saying they support the solders but not the war.
The people are afraid of the government. They do not want to seem unpatriotic so they hold back.

Yes, we support our sons, dauthers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and all other relatives and neigbhors. People in the US leaned not to treat them the way they were treated during the Vietnam conflict.

There seems to be an absolute consensus in supporting the troops. Too bad that George Bush is using this emotional and patriotic groundswell to his personal political ends. Nobody feels like they have been had?

OF COURSE! You cannot support the troops and be against the war, though - that is what they are doing! Wake up America! There are real dangers over there that our boys and girls are fighting for! Get FULLY behind them!

Yes my daughter and many of her friends are and where in the military, I wish more people would step up to the plate and send care packages to our troops, they need our help. this is such a small effort on our part considering what they are doing to keep us free. God Bless Our Troops!!
