I had my daughter last monday. The hospital stay was great everything went well. I came home the first couple of days where fine then on Friday started having horrible pains in my lower stomach not my insicion. My stomach was really hard and lumpy and swollen from my insicion to my belly button. It got worse I ended up in the ER saterday for it. My OB came in and poked a hole in my insicion and there was a blood clot and water build up under my cut. He drained most of it and then stuffed gauze down there and told me there is a 50/50 chance i will have to get recut open and my whole thing redone. It was good for the first couple of days and now it is even worse then before. I go to the doctor tomorrow The where close for the 4th. Had anyone else been thru something like this or anything after a C-section

I've had 2 c-sections. I didn't have anything like that happen. My first one went smooth. the second one, after they had sewed me up, I really thought I was going to have this big hole looking spot where some of the skin got sewed crooked or something. I was crying and was very upset. My hubby told me not to worry that everything would be ok. Turned out it was ok. Today you can not even tell I had a bulge there. the only thing I have wrong till this day is I have cramps really bad on each side of the incision. I have had all sorts of test done and they all say nothing is wrong. It's kind of like small catches when I move. Some times when I go to get up it will almost bring me to my knees it hurts so bad.
Sounds like to me your doc didn't do something right. I don't think you should be going through all that. Make sure you stay on top of the situation.

im feel for you..recovering from a c-section is hard enough without all that crap happening...

I had a c-section 10 months ago to deliver my twins 6 wks. early and it was TERRIBLE!! I had this really bad sharp pain in my shoulder and they gave me some nubaine which DIDNT help at all. It just made me so dang drowsy I could barely keep my eyes open long enough to see Baby A Maria.

They later said they got blood on my diaphram which caused the pain. It doesnt make sense to me but I guess they're the docs. Then Baby B was stuck under my ribs and they had to make an additional incision inside to get her out and they were tugging like crazy. That felt pretty bad too. I didnt get to see her because she wasnt breathing when she came out.

Now i have to have a c-section 3 wks. early in order to not bust the internal stiches. I came out of there with staples and stiches and man they suck. Good luck with everyhthing. Get well soon and Congratulations!!

OMG thats horrible I am so sorry that your having to go through this But Congratulations on your new baby girl!!! One of my friends had something like this also it was horrible she had a blood clot under her incision and they drained it also but after that she was fine I will be praying for you and hope that everything turns out for you. I would also get another doctors opinion she did and she also sued for complications from all of this the Dr. apparently did somthing wrong in her case dont know about yours though but she did get another doctor and all. good luck!

yeah. you had a c-section not normal birth when the doctor tell u not to lift or walk that means just that, you need time to heal Ur body is different from someone Else's, if this is Ur first then take it easy and take good care of Ur self that means rest and no lifting until the doctor say it is okay. your baby needs a healthy and strong mom.

I actually loved my c-section I would rather prefer a c-section to vaginal, but I did not have any of the complication you had. Good Luck
