Actually, I searched the world over for years in an effort to find out why we’re all here. I eventually discovered the only way to find that answer is to look within. So I now know that we’re here because ages ago we ingested the knowledge of both good and evil and received a death sentence. So here we are in the world of the dead and we have no other purpose in this world except to find the way out of it and back to the world of the living.

The other nine say the same thing they are there because they where written by mortal man, not a god like me.

If you pay me enough respect I will spare your useless lives.

Do not give to your church, give to the poor so they can get up on there feet and then in turn earn a living and give more to me.

I want you all to go to school so you will be well educated so you can give me more tribute.
I want you all to eat well and exercise so you will be healthy so you can give me the tribute I deserve.

Every thing you own is mine I will just let you use it, If someone steals from you they steal from me and, will answer to me.

You will have only one ruler (Me) so there will be no more war.

You will not judge people that is my job.

I see nothing in your bible that your god cares if you have an education or that you are healthy he dose not care. he wants you only to warship him, I want that also but I want you to live long and well so you can give me more.

I command mandatory vacations so you will be refreshed and ready to warship me.

I want you not to pray the same way all the time, I want you to do it where ever you are so I do not think you are doing it repetitiously and without feeling.

Do not feel bad to scream out my name when you make love to your partner.

I demand that everyone has a roof over their head and food in their belly so they can warship me.

well this is how i see it. I believe that we are here to learn lessons.....lessons like....forgiveness, value, love, foolishness of anger and resentment etc. Its all continous learning. Your body is like a vehicle that carries the soul. When the vehicle grows old or is damaged in a severe or even accidental way and no longer works the soul leaves it. We choose when we come back. It all depends if you have learned the lessons or not. If you have not learned the lessons then you return....if you have then you might return to help others with their learning. We know when the time is up and you will be able to accept your death. When you have time, when you have had the time to rest and re-energize your soul, you are allowed to choose your re-entry back back into physical state. The soul never dies.....only our bodies do. The soul is immortal and lives on forever. If you are still interested...there is an excellent book that explains alot better than i do. It really makes you think. This is the cold hard truth, as hard as it is to beleive:

We are here for the sole purpose of propogating our species. ie - To have children, and facilitate the nescessary for them to have thier own children....and so on and so on.

We are have no higher purpose. We only reject this notion as a whole because we are intelligent (or more so than any other organism on the planet) and want to beleive that there is something bigger out there...and that our lives are not so.....pointless.

You will need to address your beliefs to answer if what others tell you "gels" with those beliefs or if something you choose to embrace has you looking at our existence in a different way. I myself could speak to you of "teleological factoring" and that I personally view this blessed home we call Earth as one big classroom, but are you ready to hear that and consider it deeply enough to grasp its significance? I 'd like to think you can, but you ultimately need to make this search or quest for "the meaning of life" for yourself and no one individual's answers here may be definitive enough or hold enough sway for you to have any MAJOR EPIPHANIES for yourself. No, the journey is yours alone to make... that will be the ONLY THING that will provide you with conviction or commitment to the synthesis you finally derive.
Nevertheless, I'll give my two cents worth: I alluded to my belief that we are here to learn - in every way, by all means... but to what ends? "With all that knowledge... what gains? OH! That in the end, we may CLEARLY SEE, only the CONTENT of LOVE remains!" That's my view in a nut shell... so don't stop questioning & keep on learning every day with a clear head (that's "above the influence"). May your sojourns be poignant! And may your life be blessed with God's graces & protection (as needed). The last "parenthetical entry" has to do with my view on "risk-taking:" Not to act brashly or impulsively, but also to not live your live in fear of what possible outcomes may follow. Follow your intuition on this... think of it as a "PRN."
