ya know some of these people on here unfortunately weren't granted intelligence so they have nothing better to do with their life than to earn points by answering peoples serious questions with their dumb *** answers. IGNORE THEM.
And to answer your question I would say that because they are so close but from youngest to oldest still 3 years apart its kind of hard to keep them all interested and I have a 13 month old so reading to him is useless because he grabs the book and throws it or walks away with it, so I think a trip to a safe playground with things for them all to climb and swing would be good and also I like the idea for non toxic finger painting (in a place that they cant ruin your house) or maybe a play date at your local "Y" or see if there are any support groups for moms in your area that promote bringing them together for an hour or 2 so they can all play.
And lastly can I just tell you that I think its great that you have four kids and your asking a question about activities you can do with them rather then how your going to go nuts, or how they drive you nuts etc... somet of these people have one kid and they post questions with parenting problems rather than suggestions on things they could be doing with their children. Good for you, keep caring for those precious gifts!

My three year old and I use foam blocks to build the tallest towers we can, quickly, before my one year old knocks them down. That's a super fun game.
We build forts from pillows and blankets. The baby loves that.
We play music: everyone plays the piano at the same time, or we make shakers and wave those. We have a tambourine, and there are lots of things that make a good drum...
A wading pool stocked with lots of things like buckets, strainers, funnels, etc., is great.
Big Wheel races are fun.
Soccer with a beach ball is fun for everyone.
The three year old reads simple stories, especially the kind with things to touch on the pages, to the baby.

Some folks are so rude! Ignore the other jerks. I usually like to play telephone with them and have actual conversations, or role playing (you be Barbie and I'm coming to visit you), and a great game of "got your nose" is always a hit. My two year old loves the book "Elmo's book of colors." She has learned her colors very well. And the big thing is...have fun.

The best help I had when mine were growing up was a subscription to Family Fun magazine. Tons of activities appropriate for every age of development. And I saved them all for years to refer back to. It will be the best money you spend all year.
