Iam very allergic to a bug bite, so when bugs bite me, a small bite turns into a very large red swell. How do I get the bite to calm down????

Moisten a washcloth or some paper towels put them in a baggy (dont close it) and microwave it for 30 sec-1minute until hot. Apply to the bite and as it cools reheat and reapply. Do this for 30 minutes a day and it will bring down the swelling . You can also use topical tx like benedryl. OR you could just skip all this and use a repellant to avoid being bitten.

Same thing happens to both me and my dad. When you first notice it, we put rubbing alcohol on the bite & don't rub or scratch. Then I usually take benedryl or some other anti-histimine to calm it down. Within a day or so it's way better. But I also don't go outside much around dawn or dusk b/c that's when the bugs are out.

First, stay away from bugs! Theres a lot of things you can do though once you get bitten.... lotions, powders etc etc.... Before you go anywhere rub a small amount of dish soap or a dryer softner sheet on your exposed skin, that will keep the bugs away, is cheap and works well.

once you first get the chew try putting a copper penny on it for some hours. no longer certain if it is going to paintings even as the chew has already reacted so a options as yours has tho. Copper has something in it that counter reacts to trojan horse bites.
