it's a little fair - not 100% fair, no, but, it's a little fair.
When you go flirt with other chicks, even though you're not in a relationship, women look at that, and often times judge ya for it. Is it fair? No, not really. When you get into that relationship with a woman who's judging you by that, she's gonna think you're gonna do that even with her.
Best bet? To talk to her about it. Like, sit down, and have a 1 on 1 conversation. Let her know you're not gonna be like that, and re-assure her. Otherwise, down the line, if you're out doing your own thing, she's gonna think you're doin someone else.
If you are like that though, you shouldn't be in a relationship.

I have that same kind of situation. I'm battling it now. It's not totally fair. But on the other hand its kind of hard for that someone to believe we could be different. Takes time and lots of love, caring, giving, I guess. Do like the country song says. I'll earn your trust making memories of Us. Good luck

Yes.
If you have a reputation of being a flirt and a tease then your girlfriend has a right to be cautious when it comes to trusting you.
Be honest with her with everything and she will soon see the real you and that you have changed!
Good Luck!

Well you must ask yourself, do you really flirt and go out with a lot of girls? If you do, take some time to relax and let everyone forget about it for a while, then you can go back on the prowl.

When you meet a girl you want a long term relationship with, you'll have to settle down & devote her the attention (give up the others). It may take some convincing (time). She has a right to feel she's "just another girl" you'll "love & leave"; she has a right not to want that and to be cautious.

Unfortunately, we are judged by the choices we make. Your reputation proceeds you; the only way to change that is to show her otherwise. It's normal for her to have doubts about your character; hopefully you'll be able to overcome that and show her that you do have good intentions.

sometimes what people say(reputation factor) is very different to what or how u really are. if u have a reputation of a player, or flirt. prove it wrong dude, words are very cheap compared to actions

Unfortunately reputations are difficult to over come. You are the only one that can prove you are different. Talk is cheap the proof is in your actions.

Yes and No. You really can't blame her but then if you really want to change then all you have to do it put forward the effort and she will trust you in time. It's ok we all can change it just takes time.

Why should someone trust you that you will be loyal with your past. If you want a girl to trust you, you have to give them a reason.
