Love a 16 year old, yes that is OK. But to have sex with a 16 year old is a different thing. If a person really loves another person, they want what is best for them. A 22 year old is not as Mature as , say a 30 year old, but he is old enough to know that the welfare of the people he loves is more important than having a quick sexual encounter. If he 'just can't wait' then it is not love at all, it is only lust. There is a big difference there. Lust is self-gratification, not love. Love looks out for the other person first and foremost. Now, what you have to ask yourself is "Do I feel lucky?" Cause some parents of 16 year olds don't take it lightly when grown men (22 year olds) start messing with their daughters.

i think you already know it is wrong. Or you would not be asking. The law is preety clear on this matter. I bet if you asked her father or a police officer the same question you may see a firmer reply.
Personally I do not care what anyone says about females maturing faster then men. She is but a child her mind isnt fully ready and if you had any love at all for her you would leave her alone. And if she ask why your man enough to tell her just how wrong it is. Tell me this say you have a 10 year old daughter and you caught her with a 16 year old boy, would you be so understanding?

Honestly, I had this situation with my daughter. I'll tell you from a dad's perspective. I would kill you. I don't mean this figuratively, I'm quite literal. You would be dead if you ever showed your face again after I found out about your sick pedophilic behavior. a 16 year old is NOT a woman, she is a girl still unsure of her own personality and taking advantage of her insecurities (whether you admit she has them or not) is if nothing else disturbing.

No. Go the other direction. There are hundreds of thousands of women your age in this country. Drop her like a hot rock. (Besides, who wants an inexperienced little teenager?) Can you spell J-A-I-L-B-A-I-T? Don't laugh. They WILL put you in jail for a significant period of time. Just in case you aren't hip to it, it's a felony that follows you your ENTIRE life, no matter how harmless you think it is. The law defines the age of consent in every state as 18. Period. In this case, "yes" means "no".

is thier a reason that you can not find someone your own age ?? that you prefer to spend time in jail ? at 16 you are not old enough to make a decision ...though you may think you are ...you try to act mature ...please don't pray off of her age ...maybe leave her alone for awhile and when she is at least 18 then you can both reconsider your choices

nothing wrong with loving anyone, it is what you do about it that counts...if it is really love, give her time to grow up...aside from the jail thing, the fact is, at sixteen, she may not really know what she wants, yet, and waiting will only save you both problems in the long run! good luck

Honestly at 16 I had been married for 2 years and still wasn't a woman.... please give a years or so for you two to develop a real relationship before you consider loosing your freedom to statutory rape. Best wishes

I'ts ok to love her. Love comes in all size age color etc., BUT it's not okay to have sex with her for at least 2 years. If you love her you can wait until she is legal
