I hear ya. I already found this out years ago. I've always been skeptical about everything and never accepted anything as gospel truth, especially the gospel. Now I just assume everything I hear is total bs and I don't let it bother me.

I became an atheist when I discovered that everything I had been taught about the bible and Jesus was a lie.
And, those same lies are being repeated in this forum.

I would be reeling from shock & disillusionment & plunge into deep self-evaluation. Fortunately, this hasn't happened to me in a large way - just small minor incidents.
