I know what you mean. I get embarassed for my own religion when they are on the news for such crimes. But, I look at it this way..I don't think that there are any communities or organizations that aren't without a good and bad side. I know that we put the church on a higher standard but we shouldn't condemn anything as a whole whether it a church, a neighborhood, a group, for an individuals sin.

Catholic leaders are NOT Christians. Have you ever been lied to? I thought so. Go to http://www.chick.com Click on "Online Reading" then click on "English tract list." Scroll down toward the bottom of the page and read a tract online titled, "Is there Another Christ?" You will see that the Catholic church is more corrupt than just about anything you can imagine. I have studied the bible for years and have always seen the wrongness of their teachings, rituals, etc.I have also done some study on the roots of the Catholic Church. NOT GOOD. NOT GODLY. ANYTHING BUT HOLY.

Reading this comic-book-style tract will take about 5 - 10 minutes of your time. It's a fast way to learn ALOT of truth! I also recommend you read the tract titled, "Are Roman Catholics Christians?" on the same page.

for one thing most of this is lies spread around by people who hate the chruch. yes there is some of this in the chruch, but not nearly as much as you think. yes people sin, even church leaders. but you have to stop and think about it, when sin is found in the church it is delt with. we punish the people who do this sort of thing, and they go to jail. i am proud to be a christain. being a christian is not some thing i take lightly, i am a 16 year old who wants to live for God, and do right no matter what. i can not say i will never sin, even in this way, because i dont know. i will say that i never plan on doing this, and by God's grace i wont. no one knows the heart, only God does. and i can say that when this kind of sin is in the church it is quickly removed. like i said most of the things you hear about are lies that are blown up to make the church look bad, i pray that you can see past these lies.

i must also say that you need to look past the lies of those who say that cathliocs are not christains. yes they are christains, and i know more cathloics that i will see in heaven than i do baptist, i also have studyed the bible for years (13 in fact) and i did not do it with a one sided mind.

While the LDS Church may not have ALL of the issues the Catholic Church is dealing with right now..this scripture defines my faith well...

And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness(dark ages), the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually—

this basically means God is well pleased with the doctrine and the policies of the Church..and as the organization of the church..so collectively...the church as a whole..he is well pleased..but..individually (referring to the members) well if they were prefect...they wouldn't be coming to church..they wouldn't need Christ if they were perfect..this includes leaders of the church..as long as they are not Christ...then they need Christ's mercy, love and teaching as well..

The entire organization is not tainted, only those who rose to positions of power and influence and were already perverts.
The churches do great charitable work and should be commended for that.
But one does not need to follow the herds to the temples.

Believe and follow your heart, give to needy and love thy neighbor.

I don't believe in church I believe in God. The faith is what keeps me coming to church. People are only human, and humans are susceptible to sin just like anyone else I don't care if they are a priest or pastor or Rabi or what. Faith in a higher power that can do no wrong is the only one you can depend on.

Church Leaders are Human like everyone
else,no better,no worst. Don't look at them
like they are Gods. they are out to get any
thing they can, just like the rest of us. Be it
SEX or Money. We Trust them until they
get caught with thier pants down, then We
say I didn't think He or She would do that.

It's not church or religion you oughta be believing in, but only in God himself. And the road to God (in my opinion, okay?) is Jesus Christ the living word, and the written Word, the Bible.

Christianity was corrupted the moment it started. The only absolute truth in the whole bible is this: “In the beginning…” and this: “Amen”, And that’s about it, the rest is corrupt.
