the straightforward answer is - you could resume having sex once you start up to sense like it back! Having sex too quickly isn't volatile, yet would nicely be uncomfortable! Theoretically, interior the first week after shipping, even as the cervix remains open, sex without a condom might want to enhance an infection interior the uterus by using general vaginal bacteria. maximum females wait a pair weeks to months. that is going to count upon the type of shipping, even if you've stitches on your vagina, and if so how undesirable the tear become. Breastfeeding can shrink a woman's estrogen factor, doubtlessly ensuing in vaginal dryness and soreness with sex. the first time you and your better 0.5 have sex, that is critical to make an effort and bask in foreplay to ensure you're aroused and lubricated. Have some lubricant accessible in case that is significant. Penetration should be tender, as there will be some tightness or pulling from scarring around the vagina (even in case your stitches have thoroughly healed). i in my opinion waited the full six weeks yet had a fourth degree tear even as handing over so i become scared to lack of existence to poop now to not indicate have sex! haha besides, best of success to you! have relaxing and luxuriate in that toddler!

Child birth does not cause trauma!! Child birth is a normal and natural physiological process and your body is meant to open and provide a birthing space for your baby.

You need to trust your own feelings about this! Consider wether or not you had any perineal tears or an episiotomy, as with any "injury" (may be caused from and over anxious doctor, or directed pushing, wrong birth position (not what you would have done if empowered to choose) or a mal presenting baby)

When you are ready to have intercourse, not pressured but truly ready, your body will be ready too- again, trust your body, trust yourself, only you know what is best for you!

usually 4-6 weeks. You want to wait because this could mess up ur insides which are still messed up from birth. I had an episiotomy and i had to wait 6 weeks because of the tear from the baby. Having sex too early could mess up the healing process.

They say 6 weeks but I would say to wait till you go in for your check up because my friend just had her baby she waited her 6 weeks 2 days away from her appt. She had sex and ended up hurting herself and now she has to wait another 4 weeks because her cervix was still bruised from birth...

Six weeks post partum and already had your 6 week follow up appointment to make sure everything has healed properly. Trust me , you won't be in a big hurry to let anything in after you spend hours pushing something out.

After your 6 week follow up dr visit. Your body is wide open and prone to a higher risk of infection.

doctors say 6 weeks. It also depends on if you had to have stitches. Just continue your sitz baths and once you are comfortable, but remember if you had stitches it will be uncomfortable the first time, so make sure he goes easy on you...
