In II Peter 2, verses 1 and 2, it says that there are going to be teachers who mock the teaching of Jesus Christ dying for our sins. I Corinthians 15, verses 3 and 4 says Christ died for our sins, he was buried and he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. Now, if the resurrection is just symbolical, then the death must be symbolical. His death was literal. His resurrection is literal. If you don't keep the resurrection, you cannot go to heaven and that is Romans chapter 10, verses 9 and 10. You must accept the literal bodily resurrection of Christ.

Taking the bible literally, it was Sir Isaac Newton and today he's claimed by the scientists of the world to be the greatest mind scientifically to ever exist in history, said just before Christ returns, ministers will mock the idea of a literal Bible. And Sir Anderson who did the 70 weeks of Daniel 9:24 said the same thing. They will mock the literal interpretation of the Holy Word of God. Stick to it and believe what it says literally.

Einstein said many things, so it depends on the context.

Einstein is one of the most misquoted persons in this forum. And, most wrongly identified.

Einstein was an atheist, yet many people continue claiming he supported "creation" and a "Creator God."

Depends on the context and what you are trying to prove by the question.

Truly amazing that a Trinitarian uses Newton for a source. Newton rejected the Trinity (Jesus is God) and did not believe in a God who intervened in earthly affairs. He was one of the original Deists.

it's all on how you look at it. what i see is that knowledge isnt the same as wisdom. imagination will help you see knowledge in a better way. say if you were to not do drugs, think about what might happen to you. some uneducated people think it will make you go to hell or i think it will kill you. its a matter of opinion

If you like your own company, you can live very well alone with a good imagination. If you are going to spend much time with other people, knowledge is very useful.

...absolutely!.. he's Einstein. We need imagination to fuel knowledge (not the other way around) in my opinion. Facts are nothing unless they are put together, stacked edgewise, lengthwise, 'top to bottom..' (anything.) Any boob can recite a dictionary. Imagination captures the mind, it ensnares the soul. (and if you can fathom any of this, my top hat is off 2U!) later

Yes. without an imagination we wouldn't have the technology we have today. You can't have knowledge w/o first having imagination.

OOh YES!!! and it's not a matter of opinion. Science advances thanks to the few great minds that humanity sprouts every century. The rest of the scientist make small advances but do to the lack of imagination and creativity they mechanically preserve knowledge.

Yep!

We already know knowledge. One can gt that from books or teachers.

Imagination allows us to think the unthinkable and possibilities.. that can advance civilisation.

( Does anybody know who Albert Einstein was?) ( I think it funny that a few BOZOS diagree with oneof th eworlds greatest scientist/thinkers.)

Sure. Before we can discover (and yield knowledge) we must first imagine. Edison would never have invented the light bulb if he hadn't imagined it might work.

It is the imagination, spruced up with faith and disciplined conduct that leads you to 'true knowledge'.
